The British royal family is going through hard times. Among the problems of the Windsors is not only the notorious "Megsit", but also two broken marriages from the circle of the Queen's closest relatives. The divorce was decided by the nephew of Her Majesty the Earl of Snowdon, as well as the eldest grandson, Peter Phillips (read also: "Divorce Week at BCS: the son of Princess Margaret parted with his wife after 26 years of marriage"). However, the reasons for worrying were not only with Elizabeth, but also with the Duchess of Cambridge.

Katherine is one of the world's premier newsmakers and the most beloved of the royal families. She recently came to the recording of Giovanna Fletcher's podcast, Happy Mom, Happy Baby. The Duchess has spoken out on the most challenging and personal topics related to motherhood, from morning sickness and guilt to the intimidating experience of being discharged from the hospital and memories of her own childhood (see also: Raising the Queen: How Duchess Kate's grandmother influenced her future). Recently, it is Kate who has been credited with the main merits when it comes to preserving the image of BCS. However, news portal Us Weekly argues that the model lady and the nation's hope have had a hard time lately.

"Kate is in a panic and experiencing bouts of anxiety," said an insider. “She barely has enough time to rest, but when she tries to sleep, her thoughts do not find rest.” All this is not surprising, because Kate is used to looking for support in the family and most often found her in the person of Sophie, Countess of Wessex. Another close friend of the Duchess at court, as it turned out, was Autumn Phillips, the news of whose divorce recently shocked the British (read also: "Another" surprise "for grandmother: the Queen's grandson is divorcing his wife).
The eldest grandson of Elizabeth II announced his intention to divorce Autumn after 12 years of marriage. Although the couple argue that they disagree amicably and both will raise their children on equal terms, for the Duchess of Cambridge, this news means the loss of a close friend in her family.

“Kate became close friends with Autumn,” said royal expert Angela Mollard on Zoe Burrell's podcast Royals. “I think the Duchess will have a hard time. Imagine that you have your own family and still close friends to whom you can trust anything and who will never say too much. There are not many such people, and I think for Kate Autumn was someone with whom you can honestly discuss what worries her."

It is impossible not to mention a strange coincidence: Prince Harry separated from his family and brother in order to find refuge (albeit temporary) in Canada. Now his wife's friend and ally can go there too. Canada is the birthplace of Autumn Kelly (the woman's maiden name). Their daughters with Peter, Savannah and Isla, can follow with their mother - they have dual citizenship. The couple last appeared together in June 2019 at the royal races in Ascot, but the decision to divorce seems final.
