Last year, the princess of Monaco made two whole attempts to bring the rebellious image to life: at the end of August and just before Christmas. For the first time, it was hair just above the shoulders and a daring short bang, which was very much for Her Highness (read also: Royal punk: the most daring and unexpected image of Princess Charlene). The addition to the new hairstyle then became tight trousers, pointed shoes and a bright yellow leather jacket.
But in December, Charlene impressed her fans even more. It seems that the woman decided to radically change her image and made a punk-style undercut, shaving one temple and part of the back of her head, and leaving a long bang on the other side. In this form, the princess appeared before the public, distributing gifts to children.

At the beginning of the year, Charlene's hairstyle underwent a new transformation - and with it the appearance of her daughter, Princess Gabriella, changed. A new portrait of Prince Albert, Princess Charlene and their six-year-old twins has recently been unveiled. The official snapshot of the princely family went on sale, and now it can be bought in the shops of Monaco, and the proceeds will be donated to the charity of the principality.
In the solemn portrait, Prince Albert and Prince Jacques appear in navy blue suits and light blue ties, while Charlene and Gabriella are dressed in Dior. The mother of the family is dressed in an elegant white jumpsuit, complemented by a large necklace, and the little princess in a polka dot tulle skirt combined with a top, cardigan and shoes of the same shade. Both mom and daughter appeared in front of the camera with a similar variation of the bob haircut.
People magazine reports that the family portrait was taken in November, even before the princess embarked on drastic experiments with her appearance. In a new interview with Point du Vue, Charlene stated that the dramatic haircut was her own decision. “This seems to have generated various comments. But it turns out that this is what I have long wanted, this style pleases me. That's all,”said the princess.
She added that both her husband and children like her new hairstyle. “What's important is that Jacques and Gabriella love to see their mother in a new way,” said Charlene. “And that after the initial surprise passed, the prince understood, and he likes it too. Of course, of all the royals, I have probably tried the most of a wide variety of hairstyles and I will continue. It's my choice". The time chosen for the experiment, the princess described as "ideal", since at the moment she "has no obligations related to work or travel."
Netizens admired the picture in which Charlene and Gabriella have the same square. However, upon learning that the photo was taken a few months ago, many were worried - would the little princess decide on a cardinal haircut after her mother?
