An Instagram account called Mini Style Hacker emerged not so long ago, but immediately gained popularity. It contains photographs of four-year-old Riker Wixom, copying the style and manner of the stars. Next to his picture is a photo of a celebrity with which he took an example. His mother, Collette Weeksom, did not plan anything grandiose when she started this account, but now she and her son have about 180 thousand subscribers.
“I was very surprised when brand representatives began to write to us. This is all very new to me. I started this project just to do something creative and fun to get rid of constant sword fighting and baking pies. I never could have imagined where this would lead today. We used imagination in everything: for example, when he keeps his hands in his pockets, he imagines that he is now pulling out a laser pistol, and when he looks at the wall, he thinks how to move it with his own weight,”said Collette Weeksom.
She added that she does not want to force her son to become a model and does not yet know what to do with all the proposals from fashion brands. Now the mom of the popular Riker Wixom has hired Instafluence and Reach agencies to liaise with brands. She notices that she accepts from shops and brands as a gift only those clothes and shoes that one way or another she herself wanted to buy for filming.
Collette Weeksom also confessed: “I showed Riker the blog and he asked why all these wagers dress like him. I said, "I don't know, they probably really like your style."
In less than a year, Riker Weeksom copied photos of Ryan Gosling, Pharrell Williams, Ryan Reynolds, Zac Efron, Liam Hemsworth and many other stars, models and bloggers.
