New York is in for Fashion Week and there have been many interesting shows over the weekend.
Englishman Gareth Pugh thought that the podium was too boring, and made a real performance: professional dancers participated in his show, who performed various numbers, accompanied by special effects and videos on large screens.
Alexander Wong decided to make fun of the fashion world, which has gone crazy about sports: his models took to the catwalk in dresses with lace-ups on the chest, with bags resembling sneaker details, and in evening dresses, on the shoulders of which there was a mesh borrowed from sports shoes … At the same time, absolutely all models wore shoes with heels, which, however, again imitate sports shoes in colors and fabrics.

Victoria Beckham in this spring-summer season has moved away from the usual strict sheath dresses and pencil skirts and showed in New York flying maxi skirts and suits with playful pink large flowers. Also, the designer herself created all the shoes for the show, so that the image was complete. Victoria Beckham admitted that she has no plans to launch this line of sandals and shoes on sale yet, but added that she was thinking about it.
For the first time in several years, Gwen Stefani reappeared on the fashion horizon with her LAMB brand. The singer and designer who gave birth this year presented bright things with geometric and animal prints, and she went to the catwalk in a pink and black jumpsuit. This year she created her third capsule collection with Michael Glesser.
Another highlight of the weekend was the show "Project Runway", during which novice designers presented their creations. But it was not their clothes that became the main event of the show: program host Heidi Klum poured ice water on one of the show's producers, Tim Gun, right on the catwalk as part of the Ice Bucket Challenge.
