The most unexpected things can make me laugh. People in my company often complain of stomach pain - we laugh so much.
Favorite childhood memory - bike racing. I was 11 years old and dreamed of becoming a cyclist.
Death frightens me.
For me, the concept of "beloved" does not exist.
I love it when people express themselves through clothing. When they have the courage not to follow the masses, to be different, not like everyone else.
For me happiness is not to analyze too much what is happening or what has already happened.
My reaction to criticism is always discussion, always debate. I am interested in learning more about someone else's point of view and be sure to express my own.
I would like to live where I live now - in London. It is a very creative city full of energy.
The best qualities in a man and a woman are good manners, the ability to be friends and responsiveness. It is very important to be able to give and receive.
I am never angry. Anger is not my story, I am a very happy person.
Travel and observation inspire me. You can look at the same thing every time and perceive it in a new way.
If I had superpower, I would stop wars and natural disasters.
I couldn't sell my brand myself. As long as I live, I want to remain a free person.

Biography
Paul Smith opened his first store in 1970 in Nottingham. At that time it was the only place in the UK outside London, where famous designers were sold. A little later, Paul added things that he made himself to the assortment. Already in 1976, Smith presented a collection as part of the Paris Fashion Week for men, and in 1993 he began to dress women as well.

Furniture
Paul Smith is a fan of off-topic collaborations. This time, in honor of the centenary of the birth of Danish designer Hans J. Wegner, Paul teamed up with Maharam to create a limited edition furniture collection for Carl Hansen & Son.
