Today, the Parisian fashion center and Maison Martin Margiel representatives announced that John Galliano has been appointed as the new creative director of the brand. Rumors of his triumphant return to the world of fashion spread a week ago, when he mentioned it on a French TV show, where he was invited for the first time since the 2011 scandal. We will remind that he was fired from the post of creative director of Christian Dior for hooligan behavior and anti-Semitic statements.
Renzo Rosso, President of OTB, which owns the Maison Martin Margiela brand, previously said: “The House of Margiel is ready for a new creative and charismatic soul. John Galliano is one of the greatest and undisputed talents of all time: a unique and exceptional home couturier who has always challenged and brought innovation to the fashion world. I look forward to his return to create a fashionable dream that only he can fulfill and wish him to find his home as soon as possible."
Now John Galliano in his new home will release all the brand's collections: haute couture, as well as men's and women's ready-to-wear.

Recall that in January 2013, the house Oscar de lRenta extended a helping hand to the disgraced John Galliano: the designer was allowed to bring his wildest ideas to life within three weeks of preparing for shows. In May this year, the French fashion designer got a job in the Russian company L'Etoile, where he was supposed to create his own cosmetic line.
