Art and fashion go hand in hand. However, designers are more often inspired by legendary canvases and styles than vice versa. Unless we are talking about the new collection MarinRinaldi, which inspired the artist Joana Vasconcelos to create a work called "Valkyrie MarinRinaldi". The burst of colors and textures evident in this work is based on the MarinRinaldi collection and the combination of different types of textiles and handmade techniques. It seems that magic enchantment has brought the collection created by the brand to life, transforming it into a unique and unconventional piece.
This work is part of the Valkyries series, an important part of the artist's work. From textiles, she creates amazing organic forms that are displayed to the public while suspended in the air. This is exactly what the work dedicated to the spring-summer collection of MarinRinaldi appeared before the guests of the presentation at the Milan Palazzo Bocconi.
Together with her on this day, other creations of the artist were demonstrated: "Marilyn", "Red Independent Heart # 3" (AP) and "Carmen".

The Valkyries series is inspired by the female characters of the same name from Scandinavian mythology, who weaved the fate of people and flew over the battlefields to choose the bravest and most courageous warriors. Suspended from the ceiling, the unusual bodies of the "Valkyries" Vasconcelos seem to fly overhead in search of noble warriors who can be summoned to carry out the orders of the gods.
