Christy Turlington is known not only for her modeling career, but also for her merits in the field of charity. In 2010, she founded the Every Mother Counts Foundation. The goal of this non-profit organization is to reduce the deaths of women during pregnancy and childbirth worldwide. Just imagine, every 2 minutes, one woman in the world dies due to complications that arise during this delicate period for health. But it doesn't have to be - 90 percent of fatalities could be prevented.
Recently, Pfizer, manufacturer of IMEDEEN® Tablets for Face and Body, made a donation to the Christie Foundation. Thus, they not only contributed to solving this problem, but also celebrated the beginning of cooperation with the model, which became the face of the brand. Maria-Louise Haxthausen, Director of Marketing at IMEDEEN®, comments: “We are delighted to provide our support to the Every Mother Counts Foundation. Christie is truly a confirmation of the brand's motto: beauty from within. She constantly shows compassion for others through her charitable projects. We are proud to be involved in such a good cause aimed at helping women around the world."
