UNICEF has launched a new social campaign calling for the protection of children around the world. Its main stars were the British envoys of the organization - David Beckham and Robbie Williams.

In the photo, they are in denim shirts standing in the foreground and stretching their hand forward to signal to stop. In the background, the vague shadows of children are visible in the haze.

“If you see a child in danger, any child, you must immediately come to his aid and protect him from any trouble. Millions of children around the world are in trouble every day - violence, disease and natural disasters. We must gather all our capabilities to protect them now,”said David Beckham.

“I have met children all over the world who have been exposed to all kinds of danger - children in Haiti who have lost everything in the earthquake and young children in Mexico who are abused every day. Since I became a father, I have never understood how important it is to protect these children,”said Robbie Williams.

David Beckham and Robbie Williams noticed that they wanted to become UNICEF ambassadors when they had children of their own: Beckham is a dad of four, and Williams will soon have a second son.

Also in the Beckham family there is another fighter against the imperfection of the world: his wife Victoria recently began representing the UN - she protects mothers and their children with AIDS.

At the launch of the campaign, UNICEF also produced a film that shows children facing an epidemic of violence. It suggests what would happen if a vaccine against abuse was invented.
