Fragrances packaged in elegant bottles by hand are undoubtedly the highest art in the world of perfumery. And in the case of Ormonde Jayne, it has also won two British Style and Innovation Awards.
However, the successful start and rapid development did not spoil the character of this selective perfumery brand. Its founder, Linda Pilkington, has always been alien to the world of glamor and excessive self-admiration. Even as a child, Linda conquered the world of fragrances, who expressed her romantic passion for perfumes and bottles in a very unusual way. A little girl grew garden flowers in the flower beds of her parents' house in Cheshire and sold them on the side of the road. Later, in special courses, she studied the art of creating scented candles and oils for the bathroom, as well as scented pillows, which became excellent gifts for birthdays and Christmas. At a conscious age, Linda tried herself in different directions: she was engaged in her own luxury boutique hotel,a soy farm and even a small ice cream parlor chain with an exotic recipe. She traveled a lot and saw South America, Africa, the Far East. Today Linda's invaluable experience is reflected in her creations.
“When creating Ormonde Jayne, I aimed to combine those elements that, in my opinion, define true elegance - the quality of English performance, French perfumery, as well as the sensuality and natural harmony of the East”
