Rebellious spirit
A rebel is one who asks too many questions, one who doubts statutes and rules, one for whom it is inconceivable to be within a rigid framework. A rebel is one who does not take the beaten track. After all, the rebels are Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley, and John Lennon. These people are among those who changed the world. They did not bend and went on an unknown path. And look where this led - the world has a second chance!
You cannot rebel and expect that this will not affect you in any way. As Michael Moore said, "You can't keep poking your nose up and not getting kicked in the face." This is how it works. By the way, he is also a rebel.
Sex, spirituality and religion
Religion, spirituality, and human sexuality are topics that will never exhaust themselves. Although society has already developed a very strong understanding of such things, this does not mean that they cannot be discussed. It seems to me that this only pushes us to rethink them over and over again. Sex, spirituality, religion - they can both elevate a person, make him free, and turn him into a slave, depriving him of the possibility of liberation.
Own opinion
Of course, I have my own opinion. How else, I'm an artist, I can't keep silent. Yes, I do not know any other way to live, I always give all of myself - my heart, soul, body, if you want.
Today we live in a world where a pop artist, a pop icon is a brand. They do not want to force people to think, think, but only offer something familiar and comfortable. I've never done that, and I never can. This is not my way.
Lyrics
Most often, my songs tell about my own feelings, but sometimes it gets boring. I don't like being a bore. Writing about emotions all the time is too boring. I like to be mysterious, mystical, but in general it all depends on the mood.
Haters and misunderstandings
If people want to find something bad in someone, they will always find it. Unfortunately, we live in a society where there are no semitones, everything is taken too literally. Nobody understands the meaning of irony. Nobody knows what humor is. Nobody looks inward. The majority perceives only superficial meanings, everything else is no longer interesting to them.
Does it bother me that people won't understand my songs? It always seemed to me that my music finds its listener. Well, and those for whom I am too strange and incomprehensible, well, they will certainly find someone closer to them in spirit.
How Rebel Heart was created
My original intention was to write songs that could be easily played even on an acoustic guitar. That is, just sit down and start strumming without the accompaniment of others. Actually, I achieved this goal. Even “Bitch, I'm Madonna” can be played acoustically. And this is great.
When some songs were already written, I started talking about the album with my good friends and great professionals, so that together we could come up with what else to fill the album with and what meanings I could miss. Natalia Kills and Diplo helped me a lot. It's always interesting to work with a lot of people, you never know what will turn out in the end. But if it's a team of people you trust, it always turns out great.
Then I started working with sound and producers, choosing those with whom I would like to collaborate. We thought through everything to the smallest detail and did a great job. And there were a lot of us, many talented people with whom we managed to create a wonderful album. I'm glad that in Rebel Heart I was able to explore my personality, to show not only a rebellious essence, but also romance.

Rebel Heart is the thirteenth studio album by American singer Madonna, which will be released on March 10, 2015. Madonna is producing the album with a team of co-producers, which includes such musical celestials as Avici, Kanye West and Diplo.
The album Rebel Heart was first announced on December 20, 2014, when six songs from the album became available for purchase on iTunes. Around the same time, several demo versions of unpublished songs leaked online. Madonna reacted sharply to this, calling such an act terrorism and urging fans to ignore these recordings.
The title of the album translates as "rebellious heart". According to the singer in this album, she wanted to touch upon the theme of freedom - freedom of thought, creativity and art. As part of the album's promo, the singer performed at the 57th Grammy ceremony, after which three more tracks from the album were available to download on iTunes.
