American actor Johnny Depp received a hand injury in Australia, due to which he will need surgery. The incident occurred while working on the sequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean movie saga, but outside the set.

What exactly happened to the performer of the role of Captain Jack Sparrow is not reported. However, he needed an additional examination, in connection with which he went to Los Angeles. The creators of the picture claim that this incident will not affect the production timeline, the film will appear on the screens on July 7, 2017.

On the shooting of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which started on February 17, another unpleasant incident occurred. The young man tried to enter the site in a pirate costume. When the guards refused to let him in, he threatened them with a knife. Later, the offender was caught, and in the near future he will appear before the court.
