British actress Helen Mirren wants to play in the movie saga about street racing "Fast and Furious". The Oscar winner spoke about this in an interview. Moreover, she hopes that she will be able to get a role already in the movie "Fast and Furious 8".
“My main acting dream is to be in one of the Fast and the Furious. I would be perfect for the role of the insane villainous driver and could do all the stunts myself. No kidding, I drive gorgeous, I even did Top Gear once. Again, I just have to be in Fast and the Furious 8, "- said Helen Mirren.
In addition, the actress has a liking for the protagonist of the Fast and the Furious movie franchise, Vin Diesel. Largely thanks to him, she would like to get on the team of a new film about street racing.
The creators of "Fast and the Furious" have not yet officially announced the eighth part of the movie saga. Before filming for Fast and Furious 7, which will hit Russian screens on April 9, it was assumed that two films in the series would be launched at once. But these plans were canceled due to the death of one of the main characters of "Fast and the Furious" Paul Walker.
Helen Mirren was elevated to the rank of Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2003. In 2006 she won an Oscar for her role in the film The Queen and was nominated three more times. She is also the recipient of four BAFT awards and three Golden Globes.
