The Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort in Punta Cana is practically heaven on earth. Judge for yourself: the beach, two kilometers long, with giant palm trees, with white sand (you won't find a single pebble to remember) and the Caribbean Sea in baby blue.
It is considered to be the best beach in the Dominican Republic. There is usually almost no one on it, but if you want to take a picture on Instagram in the style of "me and a tropical paradise", you can stroll along the coast and get acquainted with the local flora. For example, there are "falling" palms and a green ebony tree, very ancient and preserved only in the local forests. That is why the Dominican Republic was chosen in due time as the set of "Jurassic Park".
Here you can also take a look at the flamingo family that live right on the territory of the resort, and visit the local U-Sp spa center - to wash away the Moscow stress. They do deep aromatic and lymphatic drainage massages, as well as signature procedures with black caviar and pearls (it gives the skin a kind of unearthly radiance) and chocolate (removes toxins and moisturizes). Chocolate is also a notable antidepressant, and after such therapy all bad thoughts - if they can remain in the Dominican Republic at all - evaporate for a long time.
For outdoor enthusiasts, there are seven tennis courts, a gym (and this is the first gym in the hotel in which I have seen people exercising, they are usually empty), football, basketball and volleyball, an 18-hole golf course. There is also entertainment for lovers of a less healthy lifestyle - bars, casinos, an orchestra and dancing. And if you want some experience, you can rent a small boat and go to the reserved island of Saona with untouched lagoons (one of these paradise islands was bought by Johnny Depp - a big fan of these places) and there you can dive for starfish and buy bottles of coconut oil - this is wonderful natural care for body and hair.
