The mystery is revealed today, thanks to a group of children who were privileged to interact with the Duchess of Cambridge at the new playground where she arrived as a wedding general. Kate Middleton was the guest of honor at the opening of a new play area called "The Magic Garden" (relatively speaking, "cut the ribbons") on the grounds of the Hampton Court Palace. After the official part, the Duchess walked through the territory of the "garden" and exchanged a few words with the children who were there. Children, as you know, do not know how to keep secrets. One of the 9-year-old students who took part in the conversation betrayed the secret of Marvin the hamster. Most of all, according to the boy, Princess Charlotte is delighted with the rodent, because Marvin constantly pokes her face and tickles her mustache.
It's funny that the representatives of Kensington Palace had to issue an official confirmation of this information: “Yes, the family of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge really got a hamster some time ago, and his name is really“Marvin”. Laughter, laughing, but it turns out that when the Cambridges got a spaniel puppy, the journalists ran off their feet trying to figure out his nickname, because William and Kate thought it was "personal information." But with a hamster, they apparently decided not to stand on ceremony. We bet that after this news one in two newborn male hamsters in the UK has a chance of getting the name "Marvin".
