It sounds incredible, but one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood still hasn't had her own star on the Walk of Fame. And this despite the fact that Foster's greatest popularity was brought by the role played back in 1991 in the cult thriller The Silence of the Lambs, and his total work experience in cinema has exceeded 50 years. But the secret turned out to be simple: Jodie Foster herself gave up this honor for a long time, because she wanted to get a personalized star on Hollywood Boulevard not as an actress, but as a director. “My children often asked me why I still don't have my star here. And I always answered them that I want to get it for directing. It was my conscious decision,”the celebrity admitted during a ceremony near the legendary Chinese cinema.

Among the guests who came to share her moment of fame with Jodie Foster, actress Christine Stewart stood out. The "Twilight" star made a touching speech at the ceremony in support of her colleague, with whom she is associated not only with professional interests, but also unconventional (although everything is already relative in this world) views on relationships. For the first time, Jody and Christine met on the set of the film "Panic Room", where they had to play a mother and daughter. Christine was then only 10 years old, and as Jody later told, the actress from her was not very good. In one of the interviews of those years, Foster even dropped the phrase that she would advise Christine to choose some kind of profession for her friend, not acting. But, apparently, since then her opinion has changed.

By the way, as a true ambassador of the Chanel brand, Christine Stewart appeared at the ceremony in a black woolen sweater and black leather skirt of this brand from the Paris in Rome collection.
