Every girl at least once imagined herself in the place of a Hollywood actress, wanted to walk along the walk of fame or meet her friends in a vibrant bohemian area. Film stars of old Hollywood always make you want to know more about them - about the little things that inspired them, about the habits that accompanied them every day. Well, culinary addictions top the list of desirable details, because they can say a lot about a person.
We could not resist the temptation and found out the details of the diet of three legendary actresses of the last century. Look for recipes for breakfast, lunch or dinner in Hollywood style in our material.
Breakfast by Marilyn Monroe
Image
Pleasant morning rituals help wake up and tune in to the new day. Breakfast was one such tradition for Marilyn Monroe. Kinodiva heated a mug of milk on an electric stove and added two raw eggs. She then whipped the mixture with a fork and drank it while she picked up the look for the day.
Although the actress herself called her gustatory habits strange, there is nothing surprising in this combination of products. Milkshakes are prepared on the basis of eggs whipped into a thick foam. One of these drinks, the Scottish Eggnog, is especially popular in America, in the homeland of Marilyn. Made with eggs, milk and sugar, this warm, creamy drink tastes like ice cream.

It is possible that Monroe's signature breakfast is based on a milkshake. The rhythm of the movie star's life hardly allowed her to whip ingredients for eggnog in the morning, and the hotel, which she preferred to the apartment, affected the girl's culinary capabilities. However, this simplistic preparation did not affect the beneficial and nutritional properties of the cocktail: the drink contains 10 times more protein than a standard serving of cornflakes.
If Marilyn's version doesn't sound too appetizing to you, start the day with a serving of the original eggnog. Traditionally, alcohol is added to the cocktail and served at Christmas, but the morning soft drink is in no way inferior to it in taste.

Lunch from Audrey Hepburn
Image
In the second meal from the Hollywood diet, we suggest including a recipe for the charming Audrey Hepburn (see also: "Angel with Sad Eyes" by Audrey Hepburn). The actress adored Italian cuisine and with enviable frequency cooked spaghetti for dinner with her favorite tomato sauce. She liked him so much that the star could eat tomato puree with a large spoon directly from the pan - Audrey's son told reporters about this.
Italian pasta with tomatoes is a great idea for a simple and tasty lunch. Use durum wheat pasta and do not boil it for longer than indicated on the package. Audrey Hepburn's spaghetti cooks very quickly, so even the busiest lady is available.

Dinner from Sophia Loren
Image
Hollywood stars look amazing. And it is no secret that a slender, toned body is the result of a correct approach to nutrition. Dinner should be light and low-calorie, but you should not completely refuse the third meal, because balance in the diet is the key to health. Hollywood celebrities also adhere to these rules, preferring vegetable dishes to heavy meat delights. For example, Italian star Sophia Loren loves Parmegiano eggplants. This delicious hot appetizer is easy to prepare.
