Many of us are familiar with the feeling when you watch a movie, and the main character devours some pizza so deliciously that you involuntarily feel hunger and already start looking for the pizzeria number in your notebook. And in animated films, food is somehow even more attractive. We decided to recall three, perhaps, the most delicious dishes of animated characters and share the recipes with you. By the way, all of them are united by tomato sauce.

We don’t know about you, but we remember this romantic dinner from the 1955 Disney cartoon every time we remember the word "pasta."

  • Beef - 750 g
  • Tomatoes in their own juice - 400 g
  • Spaghetti - 1 pack
  • Milk
  • Bread
  • Basil
  • Parmesan
  • Nutmeg - 1/2
  • Garlic
  • Bow
  • Bay leaf
  • Red wine

Cooking method:

  1. Saute onion and garlic over low heat
  2. Turn the meat with bread soaked in milk. Mix the minced meat with the onion, garlic, grated nutmeg and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Roll small balls of minced meat and fry well in olive oil.
  4. Pour tomatoes, a little wine into a saucepan. Add bay leaves, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the tomato sauce over the meatballs and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. While the meatballs are stewing, boil the spaghetti and grate the parmesan.
  7. Drizzle the spaghetti with the meatball sauce, sprinkle with cheese and garnish with a sprig of basil.

Garfield and lasagna

If you have ever watched this animated film with your younger brothers, sisters or children, then, we bet, the only thing you remember is how the fat ginger cat was eating packs of lasagna.

This Italian recipe is simple enough to be enjoyed by everyone.

Ingredients:

  • Lasagne sheets - 1 pack
  • Beef - 500 g
  • Tomatoes in their own juice - 1 can
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Bow
  • Basil
  • Parmesan

For the béchamel sauce:

  • Milk - 1 l
  • Butter - 1 tbsp. l
  • Flour - 1 tbsp. l
  • Nutmeg - 1/2

Cooking method:

  1. First, let's prepare a regular bolognese sauce. To do this, fry the garlic until transparent over low heat, then pour chopped tomatoes in their own juice into a frying pan, pepper and simmer under the lid.
  2. In another skillet, fry the onion until transparent, add the minced meat there and simmer under the lid. As soon as the minced meat becomes grayish, add the meat to the tomatoes. Finely chop the basil into the mixture, salt and pepper to taste, then cover and simmer for about 30 minutes.
  3. Let's make the béchamel sauce. Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the flour in it. Then carefully pour in the milk and bring, stirring continuously, until it thickens. While stirring, salt and add grated nutmeg.
  4. Lay the lasagna sheets, bolognese sauce, cheese and bechamel sauce in layers in a suitable shape. And we send it to the oven, preheated to 220 degrees, for 20 minutes.

Remy mouse and ratatouille

Probably everyone has seen the story of how a mouse conquers Parisian critics with its culinary delights (if only because the picture received an Oscar). Everything looked very, very appetizing, and, for sure, even children will like it, despite the fact that there are only vegetables there.

You will need:

  • Eggplant - 2 pieces
  • Zucchini - 2 pieces
  • Tomatoes - 4 pieces
  • Hot red pepper - 1 piece
  • Parsley
  • Garlic
  • Tomatoes in their own juice - 300 g
  • Bow
  • Bulgarian pepper - 1 piece

Cooking method:

  1. Wash eggplants, zucchini and tomatoes and cut into equal-sized circles, 2-3 mm thick.
  2. Prepare tomato sauce. To do this, finely chop the onion and fry until golden brown. Add the bell pepper, previously diced, there. Fry for 5 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes in their own juice and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add greens and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Place half of the sauce on the bottom of the dish. After alternating between eggplant, tomato and zucchini, place the vegetables on the sauce until the form is completely filled.
  4. Chop hot peppers and garlic. Sprinkle the dish on top. Salt if desired.
  5. Send to the oven for an hour, baking temperature 200 degrees.
