Cod is one of the most popular fish in our diet for a reason. Relatively inexpensive, it contains many useful substances (magnesium, sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and others), and besides, it has an excellent taste. It is difficult to spoil cod - it is good in almost any form (both cooked without salt and spices, and baked in the oven), and this recipe is an excellent confirmation of this.
Ingredients
For 4 persons you will need:
- 1 kg cod fillet,
- 50 g olive oil
- 2 oranges,
- 1 tbsp. black olives,
- 2 stalks of celery,
- a handful of parsley,
- salt,
- pepper to taste
Cooking method
Cooking method:
Cut the fish fillet into four pieces. Slice the celery across the stem. Grate the peel of the oranges, and disassemble the pulp into slices, peeling them off the seeds and white fibers.
Heat the oil in a large skillet, put the zest and orange slices in it, salt, pepper and simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Then put the fish there, stirring well with the braised citrus fruits. After another 10 minutes, add the celery, olives and parsley.
After 5-7 minutes, place the fish on the table.
