Ingredients:
For 8 servings:
- 8 large apples
- 100 g walnut kernels
- 120 g meringue cookies
- 80 g granulated sugar
- 80 g raisins
- 40 g butter
- 40 ml rum
- cinnamon
- pinch of cocoa
Recipe:
- Wash the apples, cut off the top from them like a lid (but do not throw them away) and carefully cut out the core so as not to damage the pulp.
- Chop the nuts and roast in the oven.
- Pound cookies, mix with nuts, cinnamon, cocoa, raisins, butter and sugar. Pour in the rum.
- Fill the apples with the rum mixture, cover with "lids" and put on a baking sheet or in a mold, after pouring a little water there.
- Place the fruit in the oven and bake until tender.
- Then arrange the apples into bowls. Drizzle with fruit syrup before serving.
