Sweet and sour cake with the addition of aromatic cinnamon, an unusual recipe for a green soup and an invigorating cold drink created for the June heat - rhubarb can successfully complement any dish, each time surprising gourmets with new flavors and delighting adherents of healthy eating with useful properties. - Rhubarb 5-6 stems
- Flour 2 cups
- Chicken egg 2 pcs
- Kefir 2 glasses
- Sugar 200 g
- Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
- Ground cinnamon
First you need to beat eggs, sugar (half), cinnamon and vegetable oil. Then add kefir, flour to the mixture of ingredients and mix thoroughly. Rinse the rhubarb stalks and cut into circles, cover with the remaining sugar and let it brew for about ten minutes.
Pour the resulting dough into a deep dish, top with a layer of rhubarb and sugar. Send the form to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 30-40 minutes, periodically checking the readiness of the pie with a wooden skewer.
Green rhubarb soup
- Rhubarb 7-10 sheets
- Bulb onion 1 pc.
- Green onion
- Potatoes 3 pcs.
- Chicken broth 2 l
- Fresh parsley bunch
- Quail egg 4 pcs.
Finely chop potatoes, onions and rhubarb leaves. Send the chopped ingredients to boiling chicken broth, add salt and pepper and cook for about fifteen minutes. Next, chop the parsley and green onions, add to the boiling soup and cook for about five more minutes.
Boil quail eggs in a separate saucepan - ideally, the yolk should be firm. Serve the soup in deep bowls, adding half a cooked egg to each serving. If desired, you can add sour cream or finely chopped greens to the dish (see also: The most delicious summer soups).
Vitamin drink with rhubarb and ginger
Rhubarb stalks 0.7 kg
Ginger 150 g
Honey 2 tbsp
Lemon 2 pcs.
Water 2 l
Boil a pot of water on the stove, reduce heat and add chopped rhubarb and honey there, cook for about five minutes, without bringing to a boil. Next, cut the lemon along with the peel, peel and cut the ginger into strips, then send the ingredients to the pan. Cover and simmer for about three minutes over low heat. Cool the finished drink, pour into glasses and serve with a sprig of fresh mint.
