Rice porridge on coconut milk with berry sauce

Ingredients:

  • Rice 200 g
  • Coconut milk 1 glass
  • Water 1 glass
  • Frozen berries 100 g
  • Honey 1 tsp.
  • Starch 1 tsp

Cooking method:

Pour coconut milk and water into a deep container, put on medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Then add rice and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Send the berries to a saucepan, add water (100 ml), add starch and cook until boiling. When the sauce is thick, add honey and remove from heat. Serve the finished dish with berry sauce and, if desired, garnish with grated almonds.

Bulgur porridge with dried fruits

Ingredients:

  • Bulgur 200 g
  • Dried fruits (dried apricots, raisins, prunes, dried cherries) 150 g
  • Honey 1 tbsp. l.
  • Butter 50 g
  • Salt

Cooking method:

Send butter and bulgur to a deep heat-resistant container, simmer for several minutes. Then pour the cereal with water (100-200 ml), salt to taste and cook until tender over medium heat, about 10-15 minutes. Then stew the dried fruits in a frying pan with a little butter and honey, then add the mixture to the bulgur and cook for a couple of minutes.

Oatmeal with spices

Ingredients:

  • Oat flakes 150 g
  • Milk 250 ml
  • Cinnamon 1 stick
  • Apple 1 pc.
  • Nutmeg
  • Honey 1 tsp.
  • Blueberries 50 g
  • Salt

Cooking method:

Pour milk into a saucepan, add cinnamon stick, nutmeg and cook until boiling. Pour oatmeal into the milk, salt to taste and cook for another 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly. Then add honey and serve with an apple (the fruit can be grated and cut into small wedges) and blueberries (see also: 7 recipes using oatmeal that everyone will like).

Amaranth porridge with almond milk

Ingredients:

  • Amaranth groats 200 g
  • Almond milk 100 ml
  • 1.5 cups water
  • Salt
  • Honey 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method:

Pour cereals into a heat-resistant container, add water, salt to taste and put on low heat. The porridge should be cooked for about thirty minutes with the lid closed, stirring constantly. Then add almond milk, honey to the container, mix and cook for a few more minutes. The finished dish can be served with almonds, cinnamon or fresh berries.
