According to various polls, more than 50% of the working population in Russia is satisfied with their work. Agree, this cannot but rejoice. However, despite such positive statistics, it is worth admitting that at one time or another we all experience a professional crisis when we want to drop everything and run away to distant islands. More often this is due to ordinary fatigue, which can accumulate like a snowball, turning every day into hard labor. So that later this whole avalanche does not knock you and your slender career down, do not forget to take a break. They will only strengthen you both emotionally and physically.
Learn to idle
Not only helps to gain strength, but also to increase your creativity. Being busy is counterproductive. When you have every minute scheduled and all 24 hours you are only doing what you are doing, you do not have time for reflection. And she, by the way, is an important part of our life. With its help, we realize the purpose of our existence, set tasks and cleanse the brain of emotional junk. Thanks to the ability to think, we can appreciate the beauty of the moment, enjoy the banal and simple things. The only thing is that all this takes time, and the rhythm of life of a modern person does not always allow him to plunge into the world of laziness, even for one day.

Therefore, your task for today is to learn how to turn off your head, and this is not so easy considering that you most likely have Facebook and a phone. A couple of times a day "close" from the whole world and immerse yourself in yourself, reflecting on being and simply thinking about "nothing". Recent research by American scientists confirms the need for such blackouts, arguing that they stimulate creativity and increase the productivity of subsequent actions. And they just help relieve tension.
Relax on the move
Have you noticed that if you immediately come home after work and bury yourself in a computer, then the rest of the day not only shrinks, turning into something incomprehensible, but also intensifies the already unbearable fatigue? And if you replace your home date with the couch with a meeting with friends or going to the movies, then the day immediately takes on a new meaning and seems filled? That's right, it's all about movement.
There is one wonderful rule, which says that rest is a change of activity. We advise you to expand it a little and add, to it, a caveat that the change of activity does not involve replacing the work chair and table with a home sofa and laptop, but the opposite activity of your daily work activity. If you sit at the computer all day, then you need to rest actively - swimming, yoga, running or even just walking (read also: "8 reasons why, a walk is better than the gym"). And vice versa. Your body will be pleased and instantly give you thanks for lightness in the body and lightness in the head.

Remember that work is work
The main mistake of all workaholics is that they do not divide life into leisure and work. For them, the latter becomes the meaning and purpose of existence. In some professions, this really cannot be done without, but by and large this approach leads directly to emotional and physical burnout. In order not to bring yourself to the state of Almodovar's "women on the brink", try to maintain a cold mind and a healthy dose of cynicism in your relationship with the profession (read also: "What to do if you are asked to work while on vacation?"). Do not forget that the main task of the work is to bring money.
This position makes you practically invulnerable to the employer and to yourself. You are now subject to your contract, which clearly states responsibilities and working hours. As a result, you do only what is required of you and exactly as much as you should - no overwork, fatigue and daily rest after 18:00. Yes, not heaven, but stable.
Go public more often

This point is, in a way, a consequence of the previous two. Cities are not only a dense traffic of cars and great career opportunities, they are also a lot of entertainment - from open lectures and film screenings to all kinds of circles and sections for people of all ages. Sign up for courses, follow the schedules of premieres and concerts, do not miss the opportunity to visit exhibitions and opening days. All this does not require a lot of time and fits well between the end of work and sleep. A little desire and your days will be much brighter.
Don't work from home
Learn to separate these two spaces. If you still have things to do, and the clock shows time to go home, do not dare to take things with you. Better stay in the office or, much wiser, finish everything tomorrow. Once you take work at home, you risk making it a habit, thereby turning your native land into a second office. And this will deprive you of the last place on Earth, where you could simply lie about mindlessly, forgetting about all your problems and affairs.

Breathe more often
If your work is related to mental activity, then make it a rule … to breathe. Breathe often, a lot and intermittently. It sounds, of course, funny and incomprehensible, but in fact, the advice is as old as the world. Every 15-20 minutes, go outside (or at least lean out the window) to breathe, even if not very fresh, if you live in a city, but at least not with conditioned air. Take a series of deep, long breaths in and out. This kind of gymnastics will relax your body and clear your head. And do not look at the sidelong glances of your colleagues, no one forbade you to take breaks.
