Lancôme has an intriguing novelty - a lip cushion, which the brand claims is "more than lipstick" - "it's a mood." The line includes 7 juicy colors for the summer - all with a long-lasting matte finish. However, the “trick” of the collection is not even that: we are invited to experiment with shades. So, for example, on the beautiful top model and brand ambassador Taylor Hill, we see the implementation of the trend of two-tone lips. And in the video tutorial, Lisa Aldridge, creative director of make-up at Lancôme (see below), tells how to repeat a few more - a gradient stretched vertically and horizontally, and "rainbow" lips.

Matte Shaker Matte Liquid Lipstick is distinguished by an innovative water-in-oil formula: after application, the water evaporates within a couple of minutes, and the oil pigments are fixed on the surface. The texture, interestingly, is actually light, but the pigments "seal" better when compared to regular lipstick. In addition, the narrow tip of the applicator allows you to practice the art of masterful application, even without a sharp lip liner and cotton swabs in case of slips. A nice bonus: the lipstick is housed in a relatively small bottle, economical both in use and in terms of the occupied space.

In general, this, of course, is an amazing marketing ploy: both want and prick to experiment with all the shades - as Lisa Aldridge teaches. 4 looks that you can "crank" with 7 lipsticks - and at the end we get several dozen different lips. Enough, one might say, for almost the entire summer!

Vertical ombre

Apply a layer of 379 Yummy Pink lipstick all over lips. Then apply 186 Magic Orange to the middle of the lips.

Horizontal ombre

A simple transition is required from 378 Pink Power to 186 Magic Orange. First, place these two colors on each half of the lips. Then soften the transition with 189 Red`Y in 5, centering it and blending with your fingertips.

"Rainbow" lips

On the upper lip, I need to make a gradient transition from shade 379 Yummy Pink to 272 Energy Peach, while adding a little 270 Beige Vintage to the center. Please note: colors should be applied one after the other from left to right, softening the transitions with the pads of your fingers. The same must be done with the lower lip: the gradient will be provided by alternating shades 378 Kiss me Chérie, 186 Magic Orange and 186 Yummy Pink (center).

Two-tone lips

Prefer 189 Red`Y in 5 on the upper lip and 379 Yummy Pink on the lower lip.
