They are a necessary makeup element that, after turning the face into a clean sheet with the help of a concealer and tone, revitalize it. The explanation is simple: sticks are a great option for residents of megacities, who, due to constant time pressure, often correct their makeup on the run (or even do it in traffic). They are of several types: compact, crumbly, baked (they differ from compact ones in cooking technology and, as a rule, have a more delicate texture and soft shades), in the form of balls. The latter are often called "meteorites" (by analogy with the Guerlain product - the iconic Meteorites powder in balls). Their main advantage lies in economy (the funds are really enough for a long time) and color - due to the large number of shades of small spheres, it turns out to be more "lively" than mono versions. Compact and baked ones have slightly more advantages compared to crumbly and "ball" ones due to the case, which is equipped with a mirror for convenience (and often also a mini-brush).

The choice of shade of blush depends on the color of the skin (the darker it is, the brighter the blush should be) and the time of day (natural pink and peach colors are suitable for the daytime, lilac for the evening, and “strict” red for the worker).

It is believed that dry blush is optimal for oily or combination skin types, because they matt well and cope with oily sheen (talcum powder is a good sorbent). This is true, but still such blush is quite universal and is not forbidden even for owners of dry skin. The main thing to remember is that they are applied at the finish of the makeup - on the foundation and on top of the powder, if you use it (the final layer of translucent powder for adjusting the tone is acceptable). With a strong release of greasy secretions, the powder followed by a layer of blush can roll off over time, therefore, knowing about this skin feature, use a primer prudently.

Dry blush is applied with large round and / or large beveled brushes. Using them requires skill - while the dry version is easily corrected by shading, for the liquid one it is fraught with turning into a dirty stain - therefore, it will definitely not work to get off with a second wave of the brush.
