For many of those to whom the cult product of the French laboratory is addressed, the serum is the same age: the current generation is the eighth for Double Serum (today it is 32 years old). In 1985, it first appeared on the market, then still in a “separate” version - in two different bottles (at that time it turned out to be impossible). A dozen years later, the unique content "moved" to a new double packaging. But the visual changes are only the most obvious. Don't forget that all eight Double Serum upgrades also featured functional improvements.

Its feature
Double Serum is created according to the "model" of the hydrolipid mantle of the skin and cells. Its main tasks are to support the five main functions of skin cells (regeneration, nutrition, hydration, oxygenation, protection from negative factors). This name was given to the sections of the cell membrane, which provide active intercellular communication - they help cells to exchange signals with each other, and also decode signals coming to them from the outside. The link between lipid rafts and skin aging is direct:the fewer, the worse the skin looks. Double Serum of the eighth generation, in addition to performing the basic anti-age functions, actively protects lipid rafts, supporting the ability of cells to "hear" and "listen" to each other.
What contains
By the composition of the serum, you can still study botany: avocado, oats, cocoa, kallikarpa, tease, spotted milk thistle, edelweiss, hedichium topped, goji, engelhardia roxbrough, zhania rubens, kalanchoe, kiwi, mango, horse chestnut, orthosifonus chestnut, Quinoa, Salleros, Green Banana … The new formula focuses on turmeric: Clarins experts were inspired by the spice turmerone, a molecule that improves cell-to-cell communication.
The Double Serum texture is still 2-in-1 ─ nourishing enveloping oil and melting gel. It is quickly absorbed and leaves a light fruity-floral scent instead of a greasy sheen.
Bottle
Now it does not separate the two "parts" of the serum (in the previous version the flasks were located side by side), but, on the contrary, unites - in the "heart" of the aqueous formula (remember that it is presented in a larger volume) there is a lipid component. They are also mixed immediately before the process of applying to the skin.
In addition to improved packaging, the novelty is distinguished by a "smart" dosage system: turning the cap makes it possible to change the rate of the product depending on the needs (remember: 1 - normal and dry skin / cold climate, 2 - combination and oily skin / hot climate).
Effect
Immediately after application: comfort - the skin is much more hydrated.
After a week: the pores are visibly reduced, wrinkles are smoothed, the complexion is improved.
One month later: the skin becomes more elastic and firm, smoother and more even, the complexion is much fresher.
