In autumn and winter, light, pastel shades in manicure no longer seem appropriate against the background of denser fabrics and voluminous things in which we wrap ourselves from cold and dampness. The "transparent" airy tones are inevitably replaced by more dense, "heavy" ones.
One of the first to present its seasonal collection of varnishes was the American giant CND (Creative Nail Design), the one to whom we owe the name "shellac", now a household name. For the new season, CND stylists have designed a Nightspell inspired by the shades that will be at the height of fashion this season, according to the Pantone Color Institute.
The collection turned out to be quite versatile, suitable for almost all trendy colors in clothes for the autumn-winter season.
Aristocratic deep plum has become one of the main hits in the shows of the FW17 / 18 collections. A significant part of the Elie Saab collection is dedicated to him, and Acne Studios pays tribute to the plum variations. Dries van Noten, Gucci and Altuzarr create evening dresses in plum, AnyHindmarch and Calvin Klein suggest coats in this color, and Simonett Ravizz dyes his coats in it. And this, of course, is not a complete list of those who included rich plum in their autumn-winter collections.
CND stylists added to their rich plum shimmer and named the shade Eternal Midnight. You can combine "plum" manicure tone-on-tone, or with berry, dense turquoise-green shades and various deep blue tones.
Another color trend with a touch of aristocracy is the mysterious cherry. Pierpaolo Piccioli uses it as a painterly brushstroke in his fall / winter Valentino ready-to-wear collection and dresses his couture bride from head to toe. Balenciag does almost the same - in their tiered berry-colored evening dress it is quite possible to go down the aisle. And if you have already been there, you can limit yourself to cherry trousers. Albert Ferretti reinforces the trend by adding a velvet texture to the color. Outrageous AnyHindmarch makes cherry bombers and coats.
Berry Boudoir is a cherry lacquer shade from the new CND collection - it has a dense structure and goes well with the same plum, powdery mauve tones and thread turquoise. For inspiration, just look at Valentino outfits, where all these colors are masterfully mixed in a single ornament.
Light shades of powdery lilac are one of the basic colors of the new Valentino collection. Karl Lagerfeld sews bags and boots from it and weaves this shade with darker ones in the famous tweed fabrics, without which it is impossible to imagine any Chanel collection. Blumarine offers us purple sweaters. Christopher Kane adds shimmer and pleating to the color. Most designers have opted for lilac as the main color for accessories, and this is an additional argument in favor of manicure in this color.
In the CND collection of new varnishes, this shade is called Lilac Eclipse. It can be worn under denim, and under all shades of blue, lilac, lilac, berry, green and metallic.
In the collections of the autumn-winter season, you can find everything in this color in general: from fur coats and coats to stockings, shoes and bags. Valentino has created an original zip-up coat and maxi-length dress in this color in a beloved trapezoidal silhouette. Paco Rabanne suggests wearing this dress and corset dresses and patent leather ankle boots. Prad offers a romantic cardigan made from mohair yarns. Balenciagi proclaims one of the main colors of its seasonal collection - dresses, famous stocking boots and oversized sweaters are made from it.
The creatives at CND go even further, making their azure even more intense and bold, and saturating it with shimmer. Viridan Veil is great for bold nail designs. But with the same success, he can beat any outfit in the trendy azure, purple or berry colors.
We are all commanded to shine this fall / winter season. The abundance of glittery fabrics on the runways was off the charts during fashion weeks. Karl Lagerfeld, of course, surpassed everyone then - in his ready-to-wear collection for Chanel there were so many scrapers that it hurt his eyes. The clothes and accessories of the brand were sewn in silver, everything, right down to tights. Not without the shine of white metal and the collection of Thierry Mugler (he also collected the silver fabric in an ultra-fashionable pleat). A significant part of the silver is also in the Paco Rabanne collection. But in essence, it is a tedious task to list everyone by name who remembered the metallic silver shade this season.
In CND, the silver color of Mercurial is even more enchanting - a tint shimmer has been added to it. And since for everyday bows, silver clothes are all-weaving too-much (especially if workdays take place in the office or in constant personal communication with people), then a silver manicure is a good way to join the trend. It is also convenient because it fits almost any clothing, including the color of grenadines, which is also bright red.
The trend for shiny fabrics is not limited to silver shades. The autumn season could hardly have been complete without gold. And if we talk about the coming season, then the shades of bronze and rose gold received the greatest attention of designers. Shining reddish-gold outfits can be found in the collections of JW Anderson, NinRicci, Paco Rabanne, Jil Sander. Adept of shiny outfits, Marc Jacobs, even in his revolutionary sport-chic collection, could not refuse gold - it looks out from under sports sweatshirts and jackets - in the form of mini-skirts and small gold dresses.
Given the circumstances, wearing red gold or bronze on a daily basis is safest in the form of a manicure. So, Hypnotic Dreams varnish - a radiant shade with a reddish-golden tint and shimmer - is a good reason to look into the salon. Like all the other colors of the new CND autumn collection, this shade is released in the form of CND Shellac gel polish and in the form of Vinylux professional 7-day polish.
