The Japanese cosmetic giant Kanebo Cosmetics celebrates its 80th anniversary, and we are receiving a gift dedicated to this significant occasion: the wonderful brand Kanebo is already at a low start in Russian sales. What do you need to know about it in order not to miss a new product?
1. The story began at a weaving factory
More than a century ago, back in 1987, a small company for the production and sale of cotton was opened in Tokyo. After some time, the founder of the enterprise, Japanese Toesaburo Kuwagata, reoriented it to silk weaving, and one of the managers during a planned audit noted the excellent condition of the skin of the weavers' hands. Thus, the vector was set for research on the valuable cosmetic qualities of silk extract - the main component of the future cosmetics of Kanebo.
2. The best choice for skin cleansing perfectionists
The first product of the brand was soap. Experimental product Savon de Soie - “silk” soap, created on the basis of silkworm pupa oil - produced a wow effect in Japan. It was then that the Kanebo company decided to start the production of cosmetics. Despite the fact that today Kanebo Cosmetics manufactures cosmetics for skin care and decorative cosmetics, it still pays special attention to cleansing products in gratitude for the first success. So, in the new Kanebo brand, presented in Russia since September, it will be Refreshing Creamy Wash Softening Cream Cleansing, Mellow Rich Oil Cleansing and Clear Cleansing Toner.
3. Kanebo is not Sensai
More precisely, not only Sensai. After the loud international debut of the brand created exclusively for the European market, Kanebo International, which took place in 1979, the development of the company went at a record pace. At the turn of the 2000s, Kanebo Cosmetics had over 80 patented discoveries in silk research in its portfolio. The unique cosmetic properties of silk were most fully revealed in the products of the luxurious anti-aging brand Sensai - so much so that in 2007 a complete rebranding from Kanebo International to Sensai followed. Translated from Japanese means "graceful, sophisticated, delicate." But now, ten years later, the Kanebo Cosmetics company presents another masterpiece, a new brand in the prestige market segment - the Kanebo brand, named after the company.
4. Care based on philosophy
The philosophy of the new Kanebo brand is attention to the individual needs (otherwise, natural rhythms) of the skin. It is no secret that they change not only during life, but also ─ of the calendar year, month and day. According to - the theory of beauty Chrono Beauty, you just need to supplement the basic care (The First Serum And Fresh Day Cream Spf 15 and Night Lipid Wear) with those products that are most needed by the skin at a given moment (for example: Bloom On Serum, Skin Gloss Oil Water or Frosty Gelee Lotion).
By the way, the packaging of new products is also not only abstractly beautiful, but symbolic: it is based on the idea of the passage of time. Remember the famous "flowing hours" by Salvador Dali? Here it is about the same: day, month, year and all life - time flows continuously, like water, which provides the skin with a charge of continuous hydration.
5. Requires a special application technique
It will take time to master it, but the results will be worth it. The Japanese claim that only your own hands, gently and gently, with daily massage application, will truly make cosmetics work and transform your skin.
The effect of Kanebo's renewed skin promises to use new products and such "workouts" within a month - in general, not too long a period of time to put in the effort and test it, is it?
