The skin in the neck and décolleté area requires special attention. In structure, it is similar to the skin in the eyelids: it has thin subcutaneous fat and fewer layers of the epidermis. The skin of the neck and décolleté, like the skin of the face, requires regular cleansing, hydration and nutrition. Natalya Samovich, a cosmetologist at the Osnova plastic surgery clinic, told us about the peculiarities of care.

Home care

It starts with cleansing. Abrasive peels are not the best choice. It is better to prefer cleansers with added AHA acids, which will gently cope with exfoliation of impurities and will not injure the skin. For basic care, it is good to use creams and serums with retinol: this component "thickens" the skin and reduces the severity of pigment (if there are problems with age spots). Collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid products only work on the surface. If you want the beneficial ingredients to penetrate a little deeper, choose products with liposomes or ceramides - these substances are capable of "pulling" the components of the product into the deeper layers of the skin. It's disappointing to sigh early: even if the cosmetics only work on the surface, there will still be a lot of sense. The active ingredients maintain the integrity of the skin's hydrolipidic mantle and retain moisture in its cells, while silicones, for example, make the skin more matte, velvety and toned (although this external effect does not last long - no more than a day while the product is on the skin surface).

Feel free to add various serums to the care, for example, with hyaluronic acid, vitamins A and C. They need to be used in a course (15-30 days) - the effect is usually enough for 2-3 months, after which the course can be repeated. Additionally, masks can be used in the care of the neck and décolleté area. Even those that you are used to applying on your face are suitable: masks of creamy textures, fabric, alginate.

We solve problems

In the neck area of some women, deep and very noticeable wrinkles appear early enough - the so-called "rings of Venus". These are congenital skin fractures that only get worse with age. First of all, improper posture contributes to their consolidation. Therefore, before you go to the beautician, pay attention to the spine and visit a massage therapist, as well as a Pilates or yoga studio. However, a cosmetologist will also help - he will solve the problem of wrinkles on the neck and in the bust area with the help of filler injections. As home remedies, you can use creams that fill in wrinkles and make them less pronounced (they usually contain silicones, collagen and elastin) - the effect will last for 10-15 hours.

The skin in the neck and décolleté area, as well as the skin of the face, is susceptible to photoaging. But if many of us are accustomed to protecting our face with creams with SPF filters almost all year round, sometimes they forget about the neck and décolleté. As a result, in this delicate area, the skin loses moisture, begins to peel off, pigment spots and a fine mesh of wrinkles appear on it. It is very easy to protect yourself from UV rays: use products with an SPF filter, apply a protective cream to your face and exposed areas of the body even in cloudy weather, and remember to renew regularly if you are outdoors for a long time. After a long stay in warm sunny latitudes, it will not be superfluous to additionally moisturize the skin of the neck and décolleté (for example, using a biorevitalization procedure).

Salon anti-age techniques

Microcurrents are popular among professional procedures for the skin of the neck and décolleté, which increase blood circulation in the dermis, improve nutrition and renewal of skin cells. So, a good effect can be achieved using the Jet Peel gas-liquid peeling procedure, which combines both skin cleansing and oxygen saturation, and the introduction of a cocktail of active nutrients (the result is noticeable almost immediately after the procedure: the skin is evened out, tightened, fine wrinkles become less noticeable).

After 30 years - according to indications - you can try the RF-lifting procedure, which, due to slight superficial skin damage, perfectly stimulates the synthesis of new collagen and elastin, and as a result has a visible anti-aging effect). Various injection techniques solve well problems in the neck and décolleté area. Preparations for administration are selected based on the problem to be solved: it can be moisturizing, or nutrition, or depigmentation, or correction of fine wrinkles. Traditionally, most cosmetic procedures are coursework (the beautician will need to visit at least 3-4 times).
