Winter tests not only our resistance to cold temperatures, but also our patience when it comes to hair care. How to deal with cold and moisture without compromising the attractive appearance of the hair, we learned from the stylist Vladislav Lisovets. Below is a step-by-step instruction on what to do.

Wash your hair

Ideal in the morning. If only because clean hair at the beginning of the day will give you confidence. I would not be zealous with styling (see why, see below), especially if it is raining or snowing outside. Curly hair is an exception, but there is a special conversation about them: for the discipline of curls, you cannot do without a fixing and smoothing agent in wet weather.

Limit styling

Today's trends exclude the "licked" grooming on the hair: styling should be light, slightly disheveled and tousled. To keep it throughout the day, use a minimum of styling. There will be enough foam for the root volume (in a very small amount) and salt (in the form of a spray) for the texture. Even if this is very atypical for you, get used to it: natural styling or simply clean hair today is the number one trend in the fashion world. Leave all elaborate "flimsy" tails, braids and buns for evening events. By the way, developing strands for Instagram photos are definitely preferable to static hairstyles.

Forget about hairspray

This is the most useless styling in the cold season, and especially on wet days. Excessive amounts of hairspray in rain or snow can greatly spoil the mood and appearance (hardly need to explain why).

Wear a hat

Barrier protection has not yet been canceled. And now hats of different shapes - in particular, berets and caps - are an absolute trend. They complement any look and make the look truly stylish. In nasty, slushy weather, this is also the easiest way to keep at least something decent on your head throughout the day.

Insulate correctly

So that the autumn-winter gloom does not add grayness to the face, be attentive to the shades. Actual warm colors always look great: mustard, burgundy and red (also do not forget that the fall-winter 2017/18 season insistently dictates to wear blue). Just don't overdo it: two bright accents in the image and a “tasty” lipstick color will be enough to make the photo top. If you still had to leave the house in black or gray, look for a bright wall with graffiti and take a selfie in front of it - a restrained image will successfully set off the background of bright colors.

Finally, to look special, you first need to feel that way. “A slight sloppiness on the head blends well with both a bulky down jacket and a classic jacket,” says Vlad. ─ You can wear colored glasses with blue or yellow lenses (the brain will appreciate this “programming”). The presence of metallic textures in the image - silver boots, a "metal" backpack or at least a belt - will make the winter look more brutal and topical. Take an atmospheric blob photo for Instagram and tone down the colors with a pink filter to show a good mood. Well, be sure to smile - even to those who look at you gloomily (Oral-B Genius Rose Gold will help you to do this, and beautifully - the current shade of lipstick of the winter season)."
