Point 1. The sun is not an enemy if used wisely

As an anti-aging medicine doctor, I advocate tanning. But! Tanning is literate and harmless. We don't have Italy here, there are few sunny days, and this, as you know, affects our body - a lack of vitamin D is formed. And without vitamin D, neither skin, nor bones, nor immunity, nor sex. In general, you see for yourself - an important vitamin, and every second of us has a deficiency caused by a lack of ultraviolet radiation, which can lead to the development of serious diseases. This is a medical aspect of the problem, and there is also a psychological one - a small number of sunny days causes melancholy and forms a tendency to depression. In short, we need more sun.

Clause 2. Forewarned is forearmed

Tanning will only be harmless if you tan at the right time and with the right protection. Otherwise - sheer frustration. First, the skin loses moisture and becomes dry. Secondly, an excess of ultraviolet light provokes the formation of age spots on the skin. And the most dangerous thing is that direct sunlight can cause skin cancer, especially if there is a genetic predisposition to them. We may not know our relatives who have had similar cases, which is why genetic tests are so relevant today. The number of skin cancers is constantly growing, and this is largely due to the fact that people, trying to get the same ultraviolet, sunbathe incorrectly, that is, without protecting the skin with special creams with sunscreen filters, and at the wrong hours.

Point 3. You can go to the beach without sunscreen

If you do it only at certain hours. If you want to get useful ultraviolet light and replenish the supply of vitamin D in the body - sunbathe before 10 o'clock in the morning, or, conversely, in the evening after 18, when the sun's rays are scattered, gliding, and ultraviolet will only benefit. But with chemical filters, which are also part of creams, the situation is more complicated. Their effect is less predictable as they react with water and sebum. It is difficult to say what the formula will be like and how it will work. The EU has already banned such UV filters as Benzophenone-3 (BF-3, Benzophenone-3, Oxybenzon), Benzophenone-2 (BF-2), Benzophenone-1 (BF-1). Substances such as Homosalate (HMS, Homosalate, HMS, Homomenthylsalicylat), Octocrylene and some others remain in question. Don't be lazycarefully read the information about the ingredients and search the Internet - now there are many resources where you can find answers to your questions. After the end of the sunny season, I would recommend everyone to make a diagnosis and see the level of vitamin D by donating blood in any laboratory around the corner. If you never made it to the sea, you spent this rainy summer in the city, and the analysis shows a vitamin deficiency, then, in order to avoid the autumn depression, start taking vitamin D inside in the form of capsules with the onset of gray days. The course of admission usually lasts a month, after which the diagnosis is again carried out - a repeated blood test. The lack of an element is indicated by numbers ranging from 25 to 75 nmol / l. The norm for vitamin D is 75 to 250 nmol / L. Such a level of vitamin D in the body will ensure normal metabolism, water-salt metabolism and correct calcium metabolism during the long winter period.
