The 71st Cannes Festival has started, and now for a week and a half we will enjoy the daily beauty and fashion marathon of famous world beauties ─ actresses, models and public figures. Let's start right now ─ admiring the most beautiful looks from the red carpet of the opening ceremony.
L'Oreal Paris has been the official partner of the film festival for 21 times, and its ambassadors in Cannes are in special honor, but, according to tradition, other cosmetic brands are delighted with the skill of makeup artists and stylists.
Cate blanchett
The chairman of the jury managed to get ready for the ceremonial appearance on the red carpet after the official dinner photocall. The actress gathered her hair in a low bun in a parted part in the manner of Greek styling and preferred very correct makeup with a slight accent on the eyes. Makeup artists only slightly emphasized the cheekbones and added color to the lips with a salmon shade of lipstick.
Kristen Stewart
The youngest member of the main competition jury did not change her “romantic punk” hairstyle with which she appeared in Cannes. Kristen's short hair is divided into three zones: the lateral ones are combed on the sides, and the parietal is raised up, while the back of the head is decorated with a funny mini-pigtail. The actress's makeup is bright and dramatic: deep graphite smoky with glitter (presumably, Chanel makeup artists did a good job). She looked great with soft waves on an elongated bob and with evening make-up: a highlighter on the cheekbones, shadows of a shade of wet graphite with a light glitter and pearlescent nude lipstick ─ a real secular film star! The Spaniard appeared on the red carpet excited: is it a joke - the film "Everybody Knows", where she stars with her husband Javier Bardem, opens the festival. One of those whom we follow with special attention ─ the ability of the 57-year-old actress to look simple and tasteful exactly for her age can only be envied. Another flawless lady in red. Alice Taglioni showed both how to wear a red pantsuit (and not look provocatively vulgar) and how to do a hairstyle inspired by the sea breeze.
