Many are wary of aromas, in the pyramid of which citrus notes occupy a prominent place. The skepticism can be explained: lemon-lime fragrances are too often used in all kinds of household chemicals. So, there is something in the scent of citrus … banal, let's say. All the more pleasant is the acquaintance with the aromas in which citrus notes are mixed and served in pyramids so masterly that you are no longer sure of anything, even that until recently you did not like lemons at all …
Eau de Citron Noir, Hermes

Getting new experiences and breaking stereotypes is priceless. For another insight, thanks are announced to the bottle of Eau de Citron Noir, a newcomer to the Hermes colognes family. Citron in the title of this fragrance is, in fact, very believable, fresh, with sourness, splashes of lemon and lime, which gradually and very delicately cover with a smoky veil. The aroma significantly changes its sounding after 15-20 minutes (keep this in mind when performing in a corner), ceasing to be so “head-on” lemon-lime. And in this emerging smoky aura over citrus is its main charm. Christine Nagel, who created this cologne, called the main note of the fragrance “black lime”. So in the East they call citrus dried in smoke and in the sun. It turned out impressively.
The aroma includes the following notes: lime, smoke, lemon, black tea, citron, guaiac.
Love the way you Taste, By Kilian

Imagine a fresh, juicy cucumber, peeled, laid out on mint leaves and drizzled with lemon juice. Happened? Something like this gourmand association is born of the imagination when meeting with the fragrance Love the Way You Taste from the new triptych of perfume, released by Kilian Hennessy. The fact that no cucumber is declared in the pyramid means nothing. Most likely, this is how the many-sided vetiver mocks our brain against the background of citrus-mint notes. And if you are ready for new olfactory acquaintances - Love the Way You Taste must be on your list.
The fragrance contains the following notes: lemon, mint, magnolia, green notes, vetiver.
AquCelestiForte, Maison Francis Kurkdjian

The most citrus of the four new products is sparkling, sour, energetic. Lime and petitgrain (bitter orange) are stated here at the top of the pyramid, but there is reason to suspect that they have their own opinion on this matter. We highly recommend applying the fragrance in advance, and not just before leaving the house, since in the first half hour the concentration of citrus notes on your skin can go off scale. And only after that the flower core of the perfume becomes audible.
The fragrance contains the following notes: lime, mint, petitgrain, black currant flower, jasmine, mimosa, musk.
Music For While Frederic Malle

In this fragrance, citrus notes of bergamot and mandarin are just a thin thread that connects lavender with the base notes of the perfume. But lavender here is omnipresent and at the same time very unusual. This is not the smell of dried flowers from a sachet (a great remedy for moth control, by the way). Frédéric Mull's new fragrance contains a caramelized, sugar and vanilla persistent lavender that creates a solid feeling on the skin. To some, the aroma may seem rather thick and spicy, not very appropriate in the office or at a daytime meeting. In fact, the fragrance consists of many undertones, which can only be tasted over time. At a minimum, let it settle on your skin, so that after a loud lavender-pineapple application, other notes, of which there are many, can be heard in it.
The scent contains the following notes: lavender, anise, bergamot, mandarin and fruity notes; geranium and pineapple; patchouli, vanilla, labdanum, sugar and caramel.
