Location? There is. Guest list? There is. Seating? Okay, this can wait. But what cannot wait is the planning of pre-wedding cosmetic procedures. Think about it in advance, or even better, strongly in advance: you do not want to go to the altar with an incomprehensible hair color, reddened eyebrows and papules from injections all over your face? Here are seven beauty treatments to do well in advance of Day X.
Coloration

When to do it: six months in advance
We are talking about a cardinal change of image. If you have long dreamed of trying a shade of "dark beer" or adding a little more "cream soda" at the roots, then it is better to test the soil first. Any color takes time to oxidize and “settle”, so give it a chance six months before your actual wedding day. In case of disappointment, there will still be time to fix it. When it comes to simply adjusting the usual color, then one week is usually enough. (read: Balayage: why star coloring has become so popular)
Chemical peeling

When to do it: at least three weeks in advance
This procedure for giving the face brightness and freshness definitely has no right to life before a big event, since the skin after it turns red and flakes from four days (depending on the type of peeling). And if you fall into the category of “getting a rash, even when the wind just changes,” then most likely you want to avoid this result. Now many clinics offer non-aggressive chemical peels and assure that immediately after the procedure, you can go even to the beach under the direct rays of the sun, even to the wedding palace under the gaze of new relatives. Do not rush to take these offers on faith, but rather protect yourself. (read: How to restore skin after chemical peeling?)
Microdermabrasion (mechanical skin peeling)

When to do it: at least two to three weeks in advance
Microdermabrasion acts like a chemical peel: sometimes harder, sometimes softer. She gives amazing results on skin renewal. The face literally glows with youth and health, the skin tone becomes more uniform and glowing from the inside. If you have already done this procedure and know what kind of reaction to expect, then lay in two to three weeks for recovery. Making your first experience like this two weeks before your wedding day isn't a good idea.
Microblading (eyebrow tattoo)

When to do it: at least three months in advance
This popular service is very popular with brides who so want to remain beautiful even without makeup. Microblading accentuates fine eyebrows with carefully traced individual “hairs” that fortunately stay in place for a long time. But since this technique, in fact, is a tattoo, and a tattoo on the face, the subsequent irritation and swelling of the skin are quite common phenomena that last for about 48 hours. In addition, there is at least one more reason to give yourself time to "step back" after a visit to the salon: in the first week, new eyebrows will look quite bright, but over time they will become calmer and more natural. And since the effect lasts up to a year or even longer, then you will have a chance to make sure that you have found the best master, and not regret what you did.
Salon face care

When to do it: start two weeks in advance
Pampering yourself ahead of your wedding is a great way to calm your nerves. But not everything is so simple: professional facials have a cumulative effect and work best after a full course. In addition, a beautician can use creams and serums with highly active formulas (otherwise why go to the salon?), And this is sometimes fraught with unwanted rashes and redness. Is it worth the risk? Definitely not.
Botox injections

When to do it: Five to six weeks in advance
In order to see the effect of botulinum toxin injections, as a rule, it takes about three weeks ─ only after this period it becomes clear whether the facial muscles have lost their former mobility, whether facial wrinkles have smoothed out, whether everything turned out symmetrically. Going "for an injection", it is better to set aside more time for recovery in order to be sure of the result and enjoy it to the fullest on such a solemn and responsible day. Dermaplaning ("polishing" of the upper layers of the epidermis)

When to do it: in a week
Doctors always recommend this exfoliating procedure as a sure way to impress everyone with young, and most importantly, perfectly even skin. Despite the scalpel, with which the doctor "polishes" the face with special movements (in fact, everything is not as scary as it sounds), after dermaplaning it does not take much time to recover. During the ritual, all the dirt, dead skin particles, fine hairs are removed and the output is the smoothest skin you have ever had. It sounds tempting, but before the wedding you need to be especially careful and give yourself at least a week's head start in case of possible irritation.
