The perfume house has renewed the original 2017 Gucci Bloom fragrance, making it fresher and greener. The same team contributed to the creation of the perfume: master of perfumery Alberto Morillas under the leadership of Alessandro Michele.
The name Gucci Bloom Acqudi Fiori speaks for itself: not a trace of the vanilla-citrus pyramid of last year's scent remains. The new fragrance combines a win-win base of musk and sandalwood with top notes of black currant leaf and watery galbanum. The first chords take us to the green bank of the river ─ somewhere near the garden, in which the currants are still waiting to ripen. It is being replaced by white flowers - barely blooming jasmine, honeysuckle and somewhere quite far away - tuberose, not as energetic as in the previous version. The aroma is quiet, moderately sillage, such as is needed on a warm summer evening.
The bottle's décor has also been changed, with a green Herbarium floral ornament on the matte powdery pink glass. According to the creators, it should remind us of a blooming cherry orchard, where, hiding in the shade from the sultry sun, friends discuss the most intimate secrets and mysteriously smile at something of their own. By the way, Dakota Johnson, Hari Nef and Petra Collins again played the role of these friends in the advertising campaign. In 2017, they also represented Gucci Bloom.
It's amazing what different associations this aroma evokes in those who have already met it. Someone thinks that this fragrance is similar to the smell of a flower shop in the evening, someone assures that Gucci Bloom Acqudi Fiori should be worn in the rain.
