The secret to the perfect cruise make-up is to maximize naturalness and minimize dense textures. A large amount of decorative cosmetics, creamy shadows, unstable mascara can not only ruin photos, but also provoke irritations, allergies and inflammations on the skin. How to choose the right makeup for a boat trip, says beauty expert and art director of ARTBAND makeup studio Daria Bogatova.
Face
Before proceeding with the application of the base and tone, it is important to pre-prepare the skin - clean it with a tonic and moisturize it with a cream, serum or mask with hyaluronic acid and a vitamin complex.
Conceal visible imperfections with non-greasy correctors and even out skin tone. A concealer with an illuminated effect will help get rid of dark circles and bags under the eyes. Choose a foundation without oils and silicones, with a light texture (ideal fluids, BB or CC creams with SPF that adjust to skin tone while providing moisture and protection from harmful UV rays).

In the summer, it is better to choose one thing: either tone, or powder.
For owners of oily and problem skin, a light powder to match the skin tone is perfect, which removes excess shine and slightly evens out the skin. Products with shimmery particles are best avoided ─ they accentuate the oily sheen.
With a light circular motion of the brush, highlight the apples of the cheeks with peach or pale pink blush with a shimmer (depending on your color type). Highlighter highlights above the lip, on the forehead, bridge of the nose and chin will add shine and lightness to the look. Do not forget about the neck and décolleté area: the unshaded tone border on the chin and lower jaw line looks extremely sloppy.
Eyebrows
They can be neatly combed diagonally upwards and fixed with gel: a slight negligence in nautical-style makeup looks quite organic. If you like the classic, fill in the obvious gaps between the hairs with eyeshadow and pencil, close to your hair color. The main thing is not to overdo it: a clear eyebrow line makes the make-up heavier. We recommend choosing wax-based pencils, so you can be sure that the shape will remain throughout the walk.

Eyes
Don't be afraid to experiment! For a sailing trip, a waterproof pencil of different shades, for example, aqua or dark blue, is perfect. It can be applied in the form of an arrow along the ciliary edge. Cream eyeshadows are too unreliable - under the influence of heat, they quickly roll down into the crease of the eyelid and the corners of the eyes.
To prevent the strong wind on the open deck from drying out the mucous membranes of the eyes, causing discomfort and tearing, use moisturizing drops before applying makeup.

Lips
For a yacht, long-lasting lipsticks in natural shades and lipstick-pencils are ideal. But it is better to refuse sticky textures like gloss ─ hair blown by the wind will stick to the lips, cause discomfort and may even stain clothes.
