Jamie Dornan: "Nothing Replaces The Smell Of A Real Person"

Many people know the actor from the film "50 Shades of Gray", which, although it did not become a masterpiece of cinematography, definitely left its mark on women's hearts. And who, if not the charismatic Jamie, could be offered the role of the new man Boss ?!

For an interview with the actor, I flew to London, where the small talk took place. Of course, his agent was present during our conversation. He warned me that he would let me know when the time came for the last question, and clarified whether everything was clear to me. "Now this will be your last question," Jamie jokingly replied (and this immediately indicated the position - the Boss is in place). After which he behaved very naturally and even, it seemed, sometimes worried. But his Irish accent fascinated me so much that I was afraid to miss the point.

- In my work, I like communication with people most of all. There is a huge team behind the creation of films and TV programs, from which I learn something new every time. I love that there are so many creative people around, from decorators to carpenters. This is a strange but very interesting mixture of professions that can hardly be found in any other field.

And of course, it was a pleasure to work with Hugo Boss, because this is also a new world, rapidly changing with time (I think that's why they chose me!). The Boss man is sophisticated and confident. It seems to me that a good suit and the right scent can make anyone like that.

And the very concept of the Boss The Scent commercial is very close to me. Today we are used to getting acquainted, making friends and even falling in love while looking at smartphones, but nothing can replace the look, touch, smell of a real person.

Then the conversation smoothly turned to personal topics, and even the agent could not prevent us from discussing football and the children's issue. “I played rugby at school,” Jamie said. - But, to be honest, he was not very good. I even thought that I would connect my life with sports or become a park ranger in order to spend more time in nature. Now I continue to play football when I have free time. Probably few people know that I broke my nose three times. Once the "culprit" was a tennis coach: he hit the ball, and it unsuccessfully bounced in my face. The second time happened during a rugby game, and the third time during a fight … But let's skip the details (laughs).

In general, I love simple things that are impossible in the virtual world. For me, the best moment of the day is to pick up my daughter from kindergarten. When you arrive there, and there is a whole crowd of parents in front of the class, and they are all waiting for the class to be over, it's such a funny picture! It is impossible to describe in words what you feel when the door opens and your child runs out of the classroom and rushes to hug you."

A warning sign from an agent, my time is up. "What kind of girls do you like?" I blurted out. “I like confident women. I hate arrogance, but it is confidence that attracts me very much. But the shape, color of eyes or hair does not matter. It is important to have faith in yourself, which is called individuality."
