“I am thinking to start working out in a fitness club with a personal trainer. A friend says that you need to wear a sconce for class. I always ran and went to aerobics in a T-shirt or T-shirt. I tried on her sconce - an unusual and not the most comfortable feeling. Why wear a sconce, and how to choose the right one?"

Fitness expert answer:
Necessity. The chest is one of the most vulnerable and virtually unprotected organs of the body. The mammary glands do not have solid support in the form of bones or muscles, and the amplitude of breast movement during sports is very serious (5-15 cm). Rubbing, stretching, loss of skin elasticity, sagging and even injury are the result of training without protection. Summary: a bra that provides a secure fixation to the breasts is not so much about fashion as about health. This also applies to the "slowest" sports, such as yoga or Pilates.
The cloth. Most modern bra-tops are made of synthetic fabrics, among them it is worth giving preference to hypoallergenic materials with the technology of removing excess fluid: this way you prevent the growth of bacteria and minimize the risk of irritation on the skin.
The size. According to research results, more than 70% of women around the world have difficulty choosing the right bra-top size, especially girls with non-standard proportions. In order to choose the right bra-top, you need to know two indicators: the size of the cup and the girth of the chest. To measure the cup, you need 2 initial values: again, the girth of the chest and the girth under the bust. From the first, you need to subtract the second, check the size table and find the correspondence of the result obtained to the generally accepted designation of cup sizes (A, B, C, etc.).
A universal formula: the bra is great if the lower elastic slides upward when you raise your hands, and little when it presses and leaves a noticeable mark on the skin.

Fitness type. Different intensity of classes means different workload. So, bras with a low degree of support are suitable for yoga: they can be on thin straps and are made of soft materials that do not hinder movement. For tougher workouts, medium support bras are suitable. The chest experiences the highest loads during running, aerobics, boxing - here you should give preference to bras with a high degree of support. For those who do not want to buy several tops for different types of fitness, multifunctional models are suitable. Thus, the new Reebok PureMove Br adjusts to one or another level of stress: thanks to the Motion Sense gel material inside the cups, the bra “thickens” as the intensity of the workout increases. Thus, if you are currently doing some non-intense workout, such as Pilates (meaning the material inside the cups is not exposed to much pressure), the bra-top provides support at a low intensity level. As the intensity of the movement increases, the material becomes denser, thus increasing the level of support: from medium to high. For example, when running, where speed and intensity of movement is at its maximum, the material will be compacted in such a way that it provides a high level of breast support.
