So now there are officially three of them. Fresh floral-fruity Kenzo World Eau de Toilette, the forerunner of the line, floral-amber World and floral-fruity, sweetish World Intense. This third is the hero of our review.
If you have seen (and you definitely have seen) advertisements for Kenzo World fragrances, then it will not be a secret for you which woman this perfume line is intended for. But before the third approach, which became World Intense, advertising in its energy was stronger than the contents of the bottles in the form of an ellipse. No, the scents were beautiful, but the girl played them over, in all honesty … Until this third fragrance appeared.
“Kenzo World Intense is inspired by a strong, successful and ambitious woman. Who follows an inner voice and is not afraid to be herself. Who bravely challenges the whole world and invariably wins. Who fights for what she believes in and takes everything she wants from life."
From the official release of the fragrance
Francis Kurkdjian and MaiLernout were responsible for the composition of the fragrance. For the duo, this is already the second flanker of the line, and for maestro Kurkdzhyan it is already the third (the perfumer created the very first Kenzo World).

What was the third iteration of World like? Very tasty. From the very first accords, the aroma of prunes is felt, which is later mixed with fresh peonies, dusted with vanilla and sweetened with jasmine. It is far from always justified to use the word "gourmet", but this scent cannot be better said. Black plum notes were a great idea, especially on a peony meringue. The fragrance lives a double life: a very curious combination of a spicy trail (blackness) and a fresh floral base (peony). That is, from a distance it may seem that the perfume is sweet and spicy, but upon close contact with the skin, fresher floral notes appear.

For all its intensity, this Kenzo can be worn on a daily basis. Especially in contrast to the basic wardrobe. And, of course, he can make good company with an evening dress. A fragrance with a decent sillage and excellent durability. Should you try? The verdict is unequivocal: yes.
