A typical ampoule sample of a cosmetic product is a rather viscous liquid placed in a glass vial. All this is more reminiscent of a medical product, which, however, is not far from the truth: ampoules are credited with the high speed and quality of the effect from use, which are not always pleasing to substances from familiar tubes and plastic jars. So who are they - regular messengers of beauty myths or real-life elixirs of beauty?
Main advantages
One of the most powerful arguments in favor of ampoules and the way they deal with skin problems that they offer is a high percentage of the concentration of the active substance and a clear elaboration of the strategy for its effect on the dermis. We read: a significant increase in the sensitivity of the skin to the applied agent, the intensity of its absorption and the level of penetration of the active substance into the deep layers of the skin. Perfume fragrances, parabens and silicones, which are often found in conventional care products, are inferior to ampoule ones in terms of the speed and effectiveness of the onset of the result.
What's the catch? The ampoules are designed for one-time use, but this is not a disadvantage either: ampoule containers are airtight, so they can be stored for a long time (however, no one excludes the possibility of a production barge). Once - but at the right time.
True, the developers have long gone ahead and offer ampoules made of high-quality synthetic materials with convenient applicators and a sealing system that allow the ampoule substance to be used even several days after the first opening. In general: long live beauty technologies.
An important point of ampoule miracles: regularity. Do not count on the fact that the skin will tighten, and its tone will even out immediately after the first use: this cosmetics acts on the principle of accumulation.
The essence of the effect
And this is what interests us the most: how will the skin be transformed if we start using ampoule cosmetics? When choosing an individual beauty elixir, take into account your age category, skin type and what specific it needs: deep hydration, nutrition, removal of irritation or something else from the traditional list of imperfections. Here is a minimum of what ampoule concentrates will effectively help with:
- Even out skin tone (magic substances such as hyaluronic acid and AHA acids are responsible for this);
- Lifting effect (elastin, collagen, vitamins A and E are excellent here);
- Removal of inflammation (in this case, look for ampoule kits containing bisabolol, rosemary essential oil or extracts of calendula and eucalyptus);
- Tonic effect (extracts of lemongrass or poppy are great).
Most cosmetic products in ampoules can be found both on the shelves of pharmacies and in specialized stores. However, a consultation with a beautician or dermatologist is a key step in case you decide (no matter which one) ampoule course. This is especially true for vitaminized courses. Well, and what about without "life hacks" (and with such a volume of information, they are simply necessary):
- Use an exfoliant before you start concentrating: this way you maximize its effect;
- Toner, ampoule, serum and only then a moisturizer: this sequence is chemically literate. If you feel that such an abundance of care products is too much, feel free to exclude serum from this beauty chart;
- On days when the beneficial properties of ampoule products are required on a special scale, it is possible to use a moisturizing mask after using them: this way you prevent the risk of an increased skin reaction and help the dermis not lose a single percent of the beneficial properties of the concentrate.
