Avoid cardiovascular disease
For several decades, scientists have been paying a lot of attention to the study of heart diseases. Experiments show that in countries where people consume less saturated fat and animal protein and more vegetables, fruits and whole grains, mortality from cardiovascular diseases is significantly lower than in those parts of the world where meat is an integral part of the diet. Based on statistics, it is easy to guess - the use of animal food (meat, milk, eggs, fish) leads to an increase in blood cholesterol levels, and plant food (legumes, light-colored vegetables, fruits, carrots, potatoes and some cereals) - to a decrease.

Avoid getting chemicals into the body
It is almost impossible to completely abandon meat, especially if you are not going to practice vegetarianism for the rest of your life, but reducing the amount of its consumption is not so difficult, especially since really high-quality meat is not so common in our harsh reality. If meat companies sold their product in its original form, it would undoubtedly be much more useful, but, alas, short-lived. What do businessmen choose: to keep their clients healthy or not to go broke? We think the answer to the question is obvious. That is why the meat that we see on store shelves is carefully processed with chemicals. This is done in order to slow down the decay processes, increase the shelf life, improve the presentation and smell. The meat begins to decompose immediately after the animal is slaughtered, and after some time it acquires an unsightly gray tint and an unpleasant odor. Chemistry just helps to preserve the bright red color of the meat and quite a pretty aroma.

Such processing, of course, can only be called poisonous in part, but, nevertheless, when consuming a large amount of meat, this fact can adversely affect our body.
Discover a new type of cuisine
Each restriction has its undeniable advantages - for example, in the case of meat, forgetting about endless sausages, sausages, sausages, pork chops and so on, you will have an incredible opportunity to discover new culinary horizons. And, by the way, sometimes, plant foods can be much more nutritious than animals.
Lose weight
Nowadays vegetarianism is in vogue, and a healthy lifestyle is not practiced except by the lazy. But those who completely refuse animal food will have a lot of pitfalls. We do not recommend giving up meat at all - along with it, a lot of useful substances enter the body. Avoiding animal meat and fish causes a deficiency in B vitamins, as well as in zinc and iron.

According to numerous studies, life expectancy does not change in any way depending on whether you eat meat or not, but its quality is undoubtedly better for those who limit themselves in the consumption of meat products. In addition, a complete or partial rejection of meat contributes to getting rid of excess weight - along with meat, saturated fats, which our body cannot effectively break down and process, cease to enter your body.
Reduce acidity in the body
In addition to the fact that meat protein and fats are poorly absorbed by our body, meat products have another not very pleasant feature: they supply our body with an excess amount of acid. The fact is that any food is a set of different chemical components, and each of these components, when digested, releases either acid or alkali. Accordingly, any product as a set of components mostly forms either an acid or an alkali. So, acidic minerals predominate in meat. Why is it dangerous? Our body contains a certain percentage of acid and any serious deviation can lead to unpleasant diseases. So, it's better to refuse your favorite fragrant kebab, which you probably would not mind eating on the weekend. If total rejection is still not for you, try to limit yourself as much as possible.

Save money
The last reason to rethink your diet is simple and bleak - a crisis. Prices are growing by leaps and bounds, and this primarily concerns, alas, meat products. So soon, it seems, even those who do not want to say goodbye to meat at all will simply have to do it.
