
It's no secret that many plants have beneficial properties. Some help to strengthen the immune system and normalize biorhythms, others improve well-being and relieve insomnia, and others are used to prevent and treat various diseases. Essential oils obtained from fruits, flowers and leaves of plants also have many medicinal properties. The osteopath, cranioposturologist, co-author of the Craniobalance method Vladimir Zhivotov tells about which oils are most beneficial to health and how they should be used.
The use of essential oils is a fairly simple, affordable and, importantly, a harmless method of healing. Due to the distillation process, essential oils are highly concentrated, so even 1-2 drops of essential oil are enough to feel its effect. Here are five essential oils that are most effective for health.
Tea tree


Spring is a time of frequent illnesses and tea tree oil can be a great helper at this time of year as it helps protect the body from viral and bacterial infections. It is enough to add 1-2 drops of tea tree essential oil to the aromatherapy medallion to stimulate the body's immune system.
If someone in your family is sick, put 5 drops of oil in an aroma lamp, this will decontaminate the air in the room and reduce the chance of infection spreading. During the treatment of colds, coughs and bronchitis, hot inhalation can be done with it. To do this, add 4-5 drops of oil to a container with warm water. It is necessary to breathe over the steam for 10-15 minutes. The procedure will help alleviate coughing, and will facilitate the discharge and production of phlegm.
Bergamot
This essential oil helps to improve the functioning of the nervous system, cope with insomnia, and normalize blood pressure. It has a beneficial effect on blood vessels, thins the blood and helps to reduce the amount of cholesterol in the blood. Breathing in the scent of bergamot oil improves mood and relieves feelings of tension. For colds, bergamot oil can also be inhaled. With a runny nose, you can rub the back, neck and chest with a mixture of 1 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil and a few drops of bergamot oil. Vapors entering the nasal passages will relieve unpleasant symptoms.
With angina, tonsillitis or bronchitis, sore throat can be dealt with by adding 2 drops of bergamot and tea tree esters to 1/3 cup of warm boiled water. You need to gargle with this solution several times during the day. Externally, bergamot ether is used to treat various skin infections - eczema, scabies, herpes. The oil can be applied to the skin for burns and insect bites to speed up the healing of the affected area.

Leuzea
Leuzea essential oil helps to eliminate asthenic and depressive conditions, it is used for loss of energy, stress, overwork. Try dripping 1 or 2 drops of Leuzea oil on your pillow before bed, and you will wake up refreshed and slept in the morning as it increases relaxation productivity. For an anti-stress massage, mix 3 drops of Leuzea essential oil, 2 drops of avocado oil and 2 drops of lavender oil. Rub the resulting mixture into the crown, back of the head and temples.

For a soothing effect, take a bath by mixing 3 drops of Leuzea oil with an emulsifier (milk, cream or honey). Soak in warm water for 20 minutes, you will feel better soon. Also, Leuzea essential oil has a therapeutic effect. It helps relieve spasms, relaxes muscles, eliminates painful sensations and attacks of nausea, eliminates burning and swelling of tissues with insect bites.
Often, this oil (see also: "Everything you need to know about dry oils") is used after operations and serious illnesses to shorten the rehabilitation period. In case of skin diseases, apply compresses on the affected areas (for 10 ml of base 6-7 drops of oil) or do wet wraps (for 500 ml of warm water 10 drops of Leuzea oil) using a sheet or towel.

Eucalyptus
The healing properties of eucalyptus essential oil are immense. It is used in the treatment of diseases of an infectious nature, it helps to relieve inflammatory processes in the respiratory and nasopharyngeal organs, and has a cough action. This oil is widely used for the treatment of bronchitis and influenza, is used during inhalation procedures, for gargling. Do not forget: in order for the butter to "disperse", you must first add it to a tablespoon of milk or honey, and only then dilute it in a glass of warm water.
For a single rinse, 3 drops of ether are enough; you can repeat the procedure every 3-4 hours. Also, eucalyptus oil can help bring down heat. To do this, add 8-10 drops of ether to a tablespoon of olive oil or baby cream and rub the mixture over the back, paying special attention to the lungs and also over the chest (excluding the heart). Rubbing can also be done to treat cough and bronchial congestion once before bed.

Pine
Pine essential oil has anti-inflammatory properties, facilitates breathing, relieves cough, helps in the separation of phlegm, relieves inflammation of the respiratory system, optimizing blood circulation in the lungs. If you mix 20 drops of pine essential oil and 30 ml. olive oil and actively rubbing your ribcage can relieve a suffocating cough. Inhalation is also effective for coughing. Put 2-3 drops of oil in hot water and inhale the vapors for 5 minutes. Such steam inhalation can also be used to treat bronchial asthma.

In addition, pine ethers help to relax the body, as well as restore the emotional state. To relieve anxiety and irritation, you can do a simple breathing exercise: apply 7 drops of pine oil on your palms, rub thoroughly, and then bring your palms to your face, holding them vertically at a short distance. Take a deep breath, hold your breath for 10 seconds, and then exhale slowly. The exercise should be done for a few minutes. To restore the protective and internal forces of the body, relieve dizziness, migraines and nausea, pine aromaculons (2-3 drops) can be used.
The beneficial effects of aromas of essential oils on the human body are much deeper and more varied. Meanwhile, using this or that ether, rely not only on its healing properties, but also on your own intuition. Give preference to those scents that you like best. Use only real essential oils, because synthetic ones will have little benefit. Experiment, choose "yours", in this case you will definitely feel their healing effect.
