Ask any celebrity what the secret of her beautiful skin is, and they'll tell you it's all about sound sleep and two liters of water a day. Despite the fact that both of these points often predetermine the entire appearance, the ritual of leaving should not end there. We will tell you what else needs to be done.
Touches
Have you noticed small pimples on your cheeks or irritation on the bridge of your nose? Blame the cell phone and the glasses, which we bet you never wiped with antibacterial wipes in your life. Bacteria multiply at an incredible rate on frequently used objects, and tons of dirt accumulate, although we may not even notice. Remember to disinfect things that directly touch your skin. And don't wash your hands often. And it's better to keep them away from your face altogether, otherwise you run the risk of regularly discovering pimples and blackheads on your skin.

Nutritional restrictions
Do not think that only fatty, junk food and sugar can harm your beauty (read also: "Sugar detox in 10 days: how and why to give up sugar"). Healthy foods and “proper nutrition” can also cause breakouts. This is especially worth remembering when going on a restrictive diet. When excluding any food group from the diet, make sure that essential vitamins and minerals are not gone along with it. Try to find an acceptable substitute for them, so as not to find your face one morning like you have never seen it before.
Scrubs and washcloths

In the cold season, our skin is more prone to flaking. Due to unhumidified air, temperature changes and lack of vitamins, various cracks, dryness and roughness can occur. When we notice problems like this, the first thing we do is run after super effective scrubs and brushes that mechanically remove annoying flakes. The truth is that after these procedures, the skin appears smoother and more attractive, but it becomes more susceptible to the risk of inflammation. An already stressed skin can react sharply to rough interference in its usual rhythm of life. What to do? The first step is to remove all rough scrubbing agents until better times. Second, start with extreme hydration and nutrition. Third, pay attention to mild exfoliating lotions and serums, which will treat your skin as carefully as possible, while delicately eliminating dead skin particles.
Swimming

Bleach breaks the lipid barrier, which is responsible for retaining moisture in the epidermis, and as a result, the skin becomes dehydrated. You probably know the consequences of a lack of moisture: dullness, reduced elasticity, acceleration of the aging process. However, it is within your power to prevent this. Choose a pool, the water in which is disinfected using ozone or an ultraviolet installation, do not swim with makeup, but apply a nourishing cream to your skin before swimming, and then wash yourself thoroughly and moisturize your skin with your favorite product.
Dirty brushes

Washing makeup tools after use is a must. Brushes and sponges store on themselves not only the remains of cosmetics, but also, when reused, transfer various bacteria to the skin, which quickly multiply in such an environment. As you might guess, this all leads to inflammation and bad skin. Don't do this, wash your tools after each use.
Refusing a shower after sports

Sport is great (read also: "10-minute set of exercises for those who do not have time for sports"). Exercise is important for health and appearance, but it can also bring some discomfort to us, more specifically to your skin. Yes, with sweat, toxins leave the body, but when it dries up, it clogs the pores, causing blackheads and acne. It is extremely important not only to take a shower after active physical exercise, but to thoroughly cleanse the skin, thereby preventing the appearance of many problems.
Ignoring body signals
Your body is a perfect system that instantly reacts to the slightest change. If you do not follow the signals that she regularly gives you, then you run the risk of ending up in a broken trough or in a doctor's office. A rash on your cheeks? Think about what you could do to deserve it. Winter is on the street. Are you supplying enough essential micronutrients to your body? Watch for signals and react to them immediately, including analyzing your lifestyle. Among the most striking "beacons" are dryness, irritation, acne, dandruff, flaking nails.

Hot water
When taking a shower or bath, make sure that the water is not too hot. This is contraindicated in our skin. Hot baths with almost scalding water are very stressful for the skin. The consequences can include irritation, redness, loss of elasticity.
