How To Tidy Up Before The New Year: The Best Express Methods

The pre-New Year fever came to its peak, and we practically did not have time for ourselves: the final runs in the shops in search of gifts, the preparation of the festive table, the cleaning of the house - this marathon can go on for a very long time and, in the end, deprive you of the most important thing - the New Year beauty image. There is no need to say that it takes time and effort, but if they are not left, what to do in this case? We think our New Year's express guide will be simply irreplaceable here.

Leaving (10 minutes)

For most modern ladies, going to the salon is rather an exception to the rule than a good tradition - especially before the New Year holidays. Just for such busy, but accustomed to looking at all a hundred girls, we have compiled our short instructions that will help you put yourself in order while potatoes are being cooked for Olivier, a pie is baked and champagne is cooled.

Let's start with leaving. It is best to take a refreshing shower before moving on to creating a solid beauty look, but if there is no time for this at all, immediately proceed to gentle cleansing of the skin. To do this, we use an oil-based product that will quickly remove grease and dirt particles from the surface of the face. Then we wash with lukewarm water and dry the skin with a special napkin.

The next stage of care is a light facial massage using a fat cream or special oil. Apply the product of your choice to your fingertips and gently pat it in the direction of the massage lines on your face. Repeat a couple of times, adding circular motions with light pressure. At the end, the skin may turn slightly red, but this will indicate that the intensity of microcirculation in the cells of the dermis is increased. And this is exactly what we need, because our goal is a fresh, vigorous and sensual image, which will be enough for a whole festive night.

Makeup (5 minutes)

If there is only half an hour left before the solemn chiming clock, and you are still standing unpainted and with hair more reminiscent of a bird's nest, or you realize in advance that you will hardly have time to create a masterpiece beauty image, then it is important to choose the least evil. In this case, your task is to create a light version of the conceived beauty image, hiding flaws and highlighting your strengths.

The first step is to wash your face with cool water (you can also use ice cubes). Then apply a light BB cream to moisturize and even out skin tone. If household chores before New Year's Eve are completely out of order and left behind large bruises under the eyes, remember about the concealer (apply with gentle point movements) and work it out on the problem areas. If your skin tone is still not organic, use a foundation that matches your skin tone.

“If you still don't know which category you belong to, just take a look at your skin in sunny weather. A slightly bluish tint is characteristic for a cold undertone, and a yellowish one for a warm undertone. In the first case, start with pink shades of tone (plus cinnamon bronzing powder and gray eyeshadow), in the second case, yellowish or golden colors (plus gold bronzer and taupe shades) are suitable,”says Bobbi Brown makeup artist Amy Conway.

To give your look a natural glow and freshness, choose a cream blush in a peach or pale pink shade. The texture of such a product will allow it to lie on the skin as smoothly as possible, and soft shades will create the effect of a light, barely noticeable blush. We fix and matte the tone with the help of transparent powder - it is better to apply it with the widest brush that can be found in your cosmetic bag (read also: "All about powder: how to choose, use and avoid mistakes").

Next, we move on to the most important areas of express makeup - lips and eyebrows. If the density of the latter allows, you can easily get by with a transparent gel, combing your eyebrows with a special brush. If they are rare, use a pencil or eyeshadow in the right tone. With eyelashes, we advise you to give preference to mascara in gray, brown or blue shades - they will help create the effect of an open look with minimal effort.

But with lip makeup, everything can be much more complicated - it is important to take into account both the shade of the lipstick and its texture. If we are talking about express makeup, then the best solution would be a regular lip gloss. You hardly need a pencil or primer to apply it. Plus you will save a significant amount of time.

This instruction will not take you even ten minutes to complete. Of course, you will hardly be able to create a beauty image like Lady Gaga's in such a time, but you will have an expressive look, even skin tone and sensual lip makeup on your side - everything is as expected.
