There is a lot to see in Paris, but pay special attention to the doors! Jokes aside, these are real masterpieces behind which amazing worlds are hidden. So, looking into house no. 49 on rue Monge, you can see a perfectly preserved ancient amphitheater, and entering apartment no. 128 on the first floor of the Le Meurice hotel, you can get into a hairdressing salon where world famous celebrities come. Christophe Robin, favorite colorist of Catherine Deneuve, Kylie Minogue and Tilda Swinton, sets the tone here, and L'Oreal Paris's international color expert.
For the sake of meeting Christophe, I flew to Paris. Dyeing at home has always been a stumbling block for me - it seems to many that it is possible to achieve shiny hair and natural overflows only in an expensive salon with a master proven over the years. But Robin is sure that with a competent approach to the process itself and, of course, the choice of means, it is possible to achieve an impeccable color and keep hair strong and beautiful. But to create such beauty magic at home, you need to know the secret life hacks. Fortunately, Christophe shared them with me.
Tips from Christophe Robin, international colorist for L'Oreal Paris

- If you have very pale skin, choose shades with gold and copper nuances - they warm the face. Do you blush easily? Give preference to cold shades.
- Do not wash your hair 24 hours before dyeing - this way you will retain natural oils that will protect your hair. If this is not possible, apply hair oil to the root zone /
- Do not use shampoo and products with alcohol for at least a day after dyeing - there is a high probability that the hair color will fade.
- Instead of rubbing wet hair with a towel, gently blot it. Friction can severely damage the cuticle.
- I don't believe in trendy colors. The most acute trend today is to find yourself. Blue and pink hair? Why not, if you are very young and ready to experiment.
- When I understand that the new hair color chosen by the client does not suit him categorically, I say that the shade will age. If you hear this from your stylist, believe me - he is trying to warn you against disaster.
