
After a hard day at work, it is good to relax at home in front of a TV screen or with your favorite book in your hands, sipping wine from a glass. But even light alcohol can cause irreparable damage to health. It has long been known that in our body there is not a single organ that would not be subject to destruction from the use of alcoholic beverages of any severity.
Once in the human body, ethyl alcohol is absorbed through the walls of the stomach and intestines, quickly reaches the liver and appears in the blood.
In addition to the known facts, there are a few more that you might not even know about. It turns out that in any type of alcoholic product there are much more calories than in any fatty cake, only unlike confectionery, the calories contained in alcohol are absorbed by the body much faster and you simply will not have time to spend them. In addition, we often prefer drinks with a high sugar content.
Liqueurs

The most famous and widely used cream liqueur can cause suspicion even among the most uneducated, because the composition speaks for itself: cream, Scotch whiskey, cocoa and sugar. From such a set, any guardian of the figure can become uncomfortable. Not only this liqueur is made on the basis of cream, but also many other similar drinks, the only difference is in the ingredients, although the main one remains unchanged - sugar. By the way, the combination of alcohol with a lot of sugar can provoke a much greater intoxication than unsweetened intoxicating drinks.
It might seem like replacing this cocktail with herbal liqueur can fix the situation. This is not entirely true. There is no cream in herbal liqueurs, but sugar replaces them in full, that is, you practically consume a weekly dose of "sweet poison" at a time.
Port wine

Real Port is a high-quality sweet fortified wine from Portugal with a complex aroma and specific taste. Of course, there are several varieties of port, each of which is good in its own way, but nevertheless, since Portuguese port belongs to sweet wines, it should also be excluded from the list of favorite drinks - its sugar content ranges from 3.5 to 16 gr / liter.
Vodka

By itself, this drink almost does not contribute to the appearance of extra pounds, but it provokes an unusual feeling of hunger. So when you use seemingly light combinations of vodka and a variety of fruit juices, there is a risk of eating much more unhealthy foods than you usually do.
Cocktails

Even more harm to the body can be caused by cocktails loved by girls. We reassure ourselves that the cocktail contains the lowest possible alcohol content, it would seem, how can a sip of vermouth in sangria harm? But vermouth is all the same sugar. In short, if the body requires something sweet - have supper with a piece of Bird's Milk cake - and the taste of childhood memories evokes much less harm than classic sangria. As a last resort, it is better to replace vermouth with whiskey, brandy or any other alcohol without sugar.
Wine

Nutritionists recommend exclusively dry wine for consumption. The best option is a glass of dry red wine, calories are easily broken down by the body, and besides, dry red wine speeds up the metabolism of fats and slows down the formation of new ones.
As for sweet and semi-sweet wines, such as cahors, nutmeg and other drinks pleasant to our heart, they contain carbohydrates that turn into fatty acid, and in most cases it is transformed into fat, which is very difficult to get rid of.
