When to detox

At different times of the year, detox can solve different problems, but it is perhaps always relevant. True, it is worth noting that in the warm season such a diet is more easily tolerated by an unprepared body, allows you to tolerate heat well and contributes to skin health. Yes, spring and summer are the most popular detox times. During this period, it perfectly awakens the body, saturates it with vitamins and tunes it to the right wave.
In general, detox helps the body readjust to a new mode of work, helps it to more easily endure the stress associated with climate change and seasons, providing a large amount of easily absorbed vitamins and minerals. Therefore, it is also recommended to take a detox course before the onset of winter. During the cold season, when our diet becomes heavier, detox helps the body to take a break from complex food, the metabolism does not stagnate, and we control our appetite.
How detox affects the body

Firstly, it is lightness and the realization that you do not faint without food, but on the contrary become more cheerful, faster and save a lot of time. Secondly, the detox is very good at controlling the appetite after it has passed. Especially if the detox is regular. You realize how often you eat just out of habit, for the sake of a ritual, and not out of necessity. For example, we sometimes take a break for coffee or tea with sweets for the sake of a break. A light detox diet exposes all of these addictions and helps you seek joy and relaxation outside of food. And, of course, two or three days of detox in a row are reflected on the scales, excess fluid is lost.
Detox: duration, nutrition, sports

Detox needs to be comfortable, so you need to build on that. Someone chooses 1 day every week, someone less often, but immediately 2-4 days of detox. We recommend no more than 5 days, and if there are more than three, then you should have a detox experience and preparation. If you are a beginner try 1 day and go for a light detox program.
Note also that the daily detox menu, depending on the program, has about 1000 kcal per day, so you will also need to prepare for this and, rather, mentally. If you buy ready-made detox programs, when all the food is brought to your home, then they will have a clearly prescribed meal plan, but if you prepare meals on your own, according to the selected system, then there, most likely, you will be offered to eat three times a day. day.
Today detox with cold-pressed juices is very popular. It works, among other things, due to the fact that the body very easily accepts vitamins, minerals and fiber that are in the juice, without throwing a lot of energy into digestion. Resting your digestive system is an important part of detox. Also, juice is a form that allows you to concentrate 5-6 kg of vegetables and fruits in one program.
During the passage of the program, many have a question about sports. Is it okay to do it during detox, and won't it be stressful for the body? Well, for a start, the first day is best spent without intense training, letting the body get used to it, and then focusing on sensations. For example, walking and yoga always go very well with detox.
It is also best to exit detox gradually. We definitely advise a couple of days after (or better more) not to eat heavy food, red meat, not to drink coffee and alcohol, to include a lot of vegetables, fruits and juices in the diet, so that the body could easily and without stress and loss of result enter the usual regime.
