Star makeup artist Carmindi (who practiced contouring even before Kim even got herself on Instagram and began to share beauty "revelations" there) spoke about another revolutionary makeup modification. We, inspired by the idea of using familiar products in a new way, can now apply a highlighter pencil to the lip area instead of an ordinary contour pencil. And this venture has six irrefutable advantages:
- By applying the highlighter to the entire surface of the lips (and carefully tracing the contour lines with it), and on top of the lipstick, you will thus create a delicate satin glow by mixing different textures.
- These two products, in a duet with each other, diversify your usual makeup ritual: again, by mixing textures, you instantly "multiply" the number of your lipsticks (both matte and glossy options will "sound" in a new way).
- Using not a colored pencil, but a highlighter as a base for bright lipstick, in case of mistakes you can easily correct the contour line, making it neat.
- A highlighter will certainly also help out if you don't have a matching pencil to match your lipstick color. Of course, the output color will not be as deep and saturated as possible - it will just be slightly different, with a natural delicate glow. But at the same time he will hold out no less.
- The highlighter pencil will also prolong the life of the color and will not let the contours creep due to its waxy texture.
- Putting a highlighter into the "Cupid's hole" is already a classic of the daily morning makeup routine. The tool in the form of a pencil will do its job just as well. Plus, it is how multifunctional and takes up really little space in the cosmetic bag, which deservedly gets all our sympathy.
